The DC Solicitation for December have revealed that Aquaman is getting a new writer in Jeff Parker.

The new storyline sounds very interesting. But Johns isn't discarding Aquaman fully, he's gonna keep an eye on him.

First Green Lantern, now Aquaman? Should have taken the hint when they first changed writers for #20...

This makes me so very sad.

Well, I found a book I can drop from my pull list.

What hint? I've heard current Green Lantern is decent.

Why? The book clearly just got better.

Oh, it is. I would actually recommend you pick it up if you're interested. I was talking about Aquaman. In May they changed writers for an issue. They where probably just testing the water before they did this.

Well, that remains to be seen. We really won't know for certain until it's released.

Woah it feels like the sky is falling in DC. Green Lantern, Batwoman, Flash, now Aquaman lose their creators. It's interesting because those are easily 4 of DCs best titles.

Venditti has taken the reigns of Green Lantern quite well. Lets hope these other titles can continue to thrive!

I hope this doesn't drop in quality, same with Flash. Now I want to know what other project Johns is working on.

wait a second, I think the real question is, Where is Geoff Johns going now???

we always seem to focus on the bad of a writer moving books, (ohh no Lobdell is moving in to destroy Action Comics now)(ok bad example because I will wait to see what he does before I say he ruins it, plus he did Generation X movie, which I liked) but what it could mean, is that DC higher ups, view Aquaman as a secure property, and are moving Geoff Johns to a comic that is in danger, or not doing good at all.... maybe Geoff Johns is going to rescue a comic title and make that one just as good as aquaman. (though if this is the practice DC wants to go with, having their best artists rotating around to put out fires, it might make it very hard to keep buying DC.)

What has Jeff Parker written?

I have faith in Jeff Parker, I liked his Rulk stuff.
