I actually would love to see that, and I want Rob Liefeld as the artist.

He wrote him pretty well in Born Again.

True that. Frank is a gifted writer and has given us some great stories. Love him or hate him, it would at the very least be interesting to get his take on Cap.

OP killed me haha, would be interesting to see Miller get to make his entirely own twist on Capt. America. A writer I love on a character I couldnt care less about, he might just turn that around.

Miller was asked what characters he would be open to writing again and he said Batman and Elektra.

This seems like a good idea .

It will be a change after what Remender is doing with. I said a change, whether it's a good or bad one I don't know.

Miller would completely destroy Captain America, and not in a good way. Captain America is a man struggling to apply his obstinate idealism to a world that sees things in shades of gray. Not a story about a dude who wants to get revenge by beating bad guys to death.

I would like it. I love his work on DD and Batman (year one and DKR).

Of all superheroes this fascist chose Captain America. That'll be a great chauvinistic run. I think Frank will nicely deal with such a characters as Baron Zemo, Crossbones, Red Skull, Master Man and etc. And I personally hope that he's planning to revive Adolf Hitler.

I'm trying to imagine what Miller Cap would look like. Mark Millar's Ultimates comes to mind...

Frank is a douche, but he is a good writer. I've enjoyed everything I've read by him.

It can't be any worse than what Remender is doing right now.

I would be curious about a story written by him involving both Batman and Elektra. It would be worth it just to see what his mind would come up with (and safe, since it wouldn't be cannon, haha)

I would like too keep Batman far away from Elektra and anything Daredevil related for that matter

... but Captain America? I might be wrong, he might do an awesome job, but I have a hard time seeing it.

Also, he said Cap didn't respond to 9/11. But... he did. Sorta. The writer then had Cap do a 'the government did it' angle on a similar attack and he dropped the suit again and went back to being 'the Captain'. It was horrible.

Because Batman's entire being is comprised of instilling fear into his opponent and Daredevil….well…...

Maybe I would accept him if it was back in the TDK days, but now, he'll only cause harm anything he touches. The only thing I can image is Miller having Cap' thinking of sexual references about his "Big-Strong-O'Mighty-Round-Colorful-14 inch-Penis Shield" as he's fighting countless racial enemies in a terrible country that looks like a woman's private part. the idea of changing out ineffective writers is to IMPROVE the comics, not make them worse.

Frank hasn't done a single good comic in decades that wasnt gritty noir comics (sin city)

he might be able to give cap a noir spin effectively, much like Brubaker gave Cap a darker noir feel with winter soldier....but WHY RISK IT. it could end up like Allstar Bat &rob, except it will be canon. *shudder

also, I don't want to see Agent 13, Black Widow, etc. reduced to being slutty prostitutes with no sense of feminine pride.

I'm surprised people are so receptive to the idea,me thinks he just wants to write Cap to further his own propaganda and not because he wants to write a good story with the character. If Holy Terror is his idea of a Batman book,imagine what he could do with Cap. Marvel wont give him the gig,they're not stupid,Frank can potentially destroy Cap to non American fans.

I thought Miller's work on TDKR and Year One is extremely overrated, but I did enjoy his work on Daredevil. The fact is, the themes he uses on stuff like Daredevil and Sin City-- self loathing, the absence of morality, punishment, revenge, corruption-- none of these things apply at ALL to any good Captain America story. The only way I can see Miller doing anything productive with Cap is if he writes them as sort of the spirit of America who's trying to take down corruption in the American government, or some crap like that. Even then, it's impossible to make such a storyline an actual serious, interesting examination on anything meaningful.

Also, the guy wrote Robocop 2. 'Nuff said.

Not true and why do they have to fight? And they have crossovered before and from what I've heard it was good.

If he has a good idea then why not, Marvel won't let him wright if its not good. I was 1 hour late for the AmA or I would've as asked him what he knows about BvS.

I'm up for this. As much as Frank's writing has went downhill recently with the stuff he wrote he is still considered,at least by me,a good comic book writer. I would love to see him handle Steve.
