So which event is your favourite?I've read the first 2 issues of both these events and while i find Flashpoint to be more entertaining it's aftermath is horrendus.Fear itself while less exciting is'nt gonna screw with everything.
So what's it gonna be?
Flashpoint or Fear itself?
I haven't started reading any of them yet but I'm interested in Flashpoint and I'm absolutelly not interested in Fear Itself and I'm a Marvel man.
Hmmm, who do I hate more? The guy who screwed up Cyclops and Emma, or the guy who screwed up Wally West and can't write Batman? Probably the former, but I still think Flashpoint sucks beyond words. So after all that, I vote Fear Itself.
Depending on how Fear Itself #4 goes, probably neither..... -__-(Pats back) There, there.
...i dont get why DC is having to major story lines at once(Flash Point an War of the Green Lanterns) an right after there two biggest story lines in a while (Blackest Night an Brightest Day)
I gave it to fear Itself, I read an issue of it and enjoyed. Flashpoint just seems like it's unnecessary right now, I like the idea of a reboot but Flashppint itself doesn't really interest me.

Are ppl on CV mostly pro DC? Seems like a wide marginJust voted for Flashpoint to check the tally, just 10 votes for now man.
On an individual issue by issue basis, Fear Itself #1 I really enjoyed, issue #2 fell flat though, by quite a margin. I find Flashpoint started steady and is building quite nicely. I am actually reading Fear Itself #3 now, and its actually improved from the prior issue, so I am not sure. Though based on the first two issues of each, I'd probably go with Flashpoint collectively. i am happy that Fear Itself is picking up. Tie ins included I'd fall down with Fear, Though the 'Batman' tie in was sweet, Oh actually so was the Abin Sur one.
It depends on how what they're going to keep and what they're going to throw away. I mean, BD streamlined Hawkman's convoluted story pretty well (imo), and I enjoyed the Deadman stuff too. I can't imagine them throwing that away.@TheCheeseStabber said:

And I voted Flashpoint. Fear Itself got boring, imo. CV is pretty DC-biased though (or so I'm told)
Personally I've never been a fan of Thor, not much of one of Flash either. I can't get into it with how much I dislike Thor stories overall. At least with Flashpoint I'm getting to see the new versions of characters like Batman...
Flashpoint, I like marvel… My pull list is probably 30% indies, 30% Marvel, and 40% DC. The story telling in flashpoint started strong and has remained so. Flashpoint seems more self contained, that you don’t have to read the cross over material. Fear itself seems like much of the action is happening in the monthly titles (Ex. Grey Gargoyle in invincible ironman)
I actually made a the choice between the two (so my bank balance stops screaming at me) I went for flashpoint with the Batman and Abin Sur tie-ins. I have a weakness for Batman and Elseworlds / What if?s and was told it'd be a good place to jump on with my average Flash knowledge.
I need clarification... Are we to vote for the one we hate the most fade to black said? or the one we like the most? Or the one we want to NOT happen the most? The one we like the most, I was saying which writer do I hate the most, and would consequently vote against them. Despite disliking Fraction more, I said Fear Itself was better, because I hate Barry Allen.
Flashpoint doesn't even feel like an event. It feels like a Flash story. They could've just done this in Flash's title and cut out all the tie-ins and it would've been better, IMO. But I guess they needed to put it out there as an event for the whole reboot thing.
Fear Itself feels like an event on the other hand. I don't like it [I don't hate it, either], but it's an event to me.
Sorry about that, I MEANT to type "AS fade to black said", not "Fade to black said." I was actually addressing that question to everyone.@Timandm said:
