1. Thanos
2. Thanos
3. Thanos
4. Thanos
5. Thanos!!!
JK but in all seriousness I have 100% faith in this movie. All I really could ask for is that Hulk gets more screen time and focus and they already said he would so I'm pretty much set :)
- Darker tone (still keeping someof the humor though to even things out, but overall a darker tone)
- Cap lifting mjolnir (goes back to Thor by the end obviously, but one scene with this would be awesome)
- Better teamwork in fight scenes with The Avengers
- Something relating to Thanos (doesn't have to be major, just something to remind us that he's out there and is coming)
- As little Scarlett Johansson as possible (hopefully killing her so we won't have to see her in future movies)
I try to keep my hopes within reason and what we don't already know.
I want:
- Black Panther Easter egg - Not a flat out cameo, I highly doubt we'll get that.
- A cameo from Daredevil.
- A permanent death.
- Hulk doing a little bit more than smashing - hints at more intelligence to set up a PH movie - We've already seen the Sakaarans.
- Thor vs Hulk round 2 - Iron Man and Cap fight him first but cannot win - Then the big gun arrives.
@avenging_x_bolt: Howard the Duck is awesome and if you don't love him your parents raised you wrong.
- Darker tone - not dark like the DK trilogy - but something similar to CA: The Winter Soldier, if maybe not a little bit darker - and that means colour and soundtrack could be more seduced.
- Ultron to, you know, do a lot. My gripe with Bucky in TWS is the gripe I've got with Electro - he's a solid antagonist but he didn't do much - I'd like Ultron to show a lot here.
- I don't want anymore pissing contests here - I want them to be a fully assembled team like The Avengers: EMH, not pissing around and failing to be a team like the first movie.
- I don't want all this hydra bull crap floating too much across the screen - the sort of stuff with politics and hydra worked brilliantly well with the Winter Soldier, but maybe not with Avengers. Maybe try to minimise Hydra's influence in the film.
- I'd like the narrative to be more character driven - similar to GOTG (I'm watching that in 3 hours!)
@joshmightbe: I've never read anything with him in it. I'm not saying he can't be I. The MCU, just keep him away from the Avengers movies's material.
@avenging_x_bolt: I still want to see the Great Lakes Avengers movie. If we can get Rocket Raccoon and Groot in a movie we can damn well get Squirrel Girl and Mr. Immortal.
- I want Von Strucker to stick to a secondary antagonist. Have Ultron take the full role, instead of giving Strucker a 'he was behind it the whole time!' villain role.
- Hoping Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch aren't totally butchered. I can deal with the 'miracles' origin but at least develop them well.
- Darker tone. Just enough humor to keep the movie from dragging on, though.
- Hawkeye needs to have a bigger role. He was 'bow-wielding henchman' for a decent chunk of the first Avengers. Definitely don't want that again.
- Please, please pull off Vision. I wanna see him keeping up with the rest of the team.
@joshmightbe: ummm. Ok. Guess I can't fault you for wanting something new. Although I wouldn't equate Groots ridiculousness to Squirrel Girl's. Maybe Rocket's though.
@stormdriven: Actually I hope Quicksilver is a huge douche with a major superiority complex, y'know like he's always been in the comics.
@avenging_x_bolt: As long as they didn't take it seriously a GLA movie could be great. I wouldn't expect it to be oscar worthy but it has potential to be hilarious. You could do a montage of Mr. Immortals failed suicide attempts set to some really motivational 80s training montage song, or having people commenting on Squirrel Girl doing incredible things off screen. You could even have that scene of Flatman coming out as gay and no one cares in the slightest because it was around the same time Mr. Immortal was discovered to be the peak of human evolution (Yes that actually happened in canon.)
Ok well let's see,
1. Most important to me is that they act like a group. I can understand if hulk goes on a tantrum and they have to stop him. But the rest should work together.
2. Ultron better not be beaten other than by PIS. Ironman better not be hacking him and no one here should be over powering him. That would really grind my gears.
3. Maybe a cameo or reference to future more powerful avengers like sentry and blue marvel that's be kool.
4. Hulk buster vs hulk. Please make this happen!
5. I want hawkeye to have a more established role, but they better not focus on him. The team should be focused on the core 4 hulk ironman cap and thor. I understand the establishment of a backstory, but there's a point where it's too much. Those are my 5. Hope you enjoyed:)
Hank Pym...
1. Quicksilver's outfit to not look stupid
2. Scarlet Witch's outfit to not look stupid ( they both do....so far there is no hope).
3. A decent storyline
4. Iron Man to not be the one who create Ultron
5. Ultron smacking the crap out of them. Seriously though, the only way he should be defeated in the movie is plot, not being smacked on the head with a hammer. *Looks at the Destroyer armor in Thor 1*.
Edit: And Joss Whedon to not write this movie because he'll probably make Ultron die in the dumbest way.
I'm going to walk in this movie with low expectations, and expect at least 1 well known character to be killed.
- Give Hawkeye more backstory and development in this film.
- Give Hulk plenty of screen time and involvement in the storyline.
- Maybe more of a character driven narrative to ensure all the members get equal screen time.
- Closer teamwork and interactions between the Avengers, both in terms of banter and working together.
- Have Thanos tie into events in a really cool and novel way hopefully.

Definitely agree with this on all points, especially that all characters are able to get equal screen time. And that definitely goes for Hawkeye, I love Clint & Renner playing him, & want to see more of him being Clint & having backstory & development, acting like the cool smartass Clint we all know & love.
Also, a lot of people have talked about Cap moving Thor's hammer, and wanting to see him actually lift it. This is what I want to see:
That would be freakin' epic, right?
And I would LOVE to see a scene like this:
That would be the best Hemsworth Thor moment EVER.
@winter_kills: I would SO love to see that Hemsoworth Thor scene, how could I forget to mention that? That would make the film for me if Hemsworth said that line.
For real! I've had that scene in my mind ever since I first heard about this movie, & this would just set the movie over the top for me. It's a line & a scene that's practically BEGGING to be put on screen. It would be like the ULTIMATE moment for Hemsworth as Thor.
I think more focus on Clint would be great, but considering how many new players there are in this film, I doubt it. They are going to kill him off, and Natasha is going to lose it.
It would be great to see Thor more powerful than he's been shown, and Vision to be the real hero in the end.
Scarlet Witch and Quick Silver have no reason to be in this film, to be honest.
1. A lot of ass kicking by the new guys to solidify there place among the roster
2. develop vision backstory and relationship with his father ultron
3. mention of what is to come (dr strange and Ant Man)
4.speed scene from quicksilver
5. umm ill come back for 5
1) More Drama.
2) Cap lifting Thor's hammer.
3) Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch to have solid potrayals.
4) Don't make Hawkeye boring or useless in this film.
5) Ultron to be an awesome villain (not Malekith or Ronin)
Also, I don't want Iron Man to be the focus of this movie.... it's kind of too late to wish for that though
@runawayavenger: That would be a fun scene. Maybe keep Clint alive, but he get's all Ronin'y" as a result and have Natasha lose it on Stark because of him being responsible for Ultron's creation. (That is the premise of the movie, right? Since Hank Pym has been ignored completely.)
1) All the characters to die at the start of the movie
2) All characters to be replaced by minorities who we could care less about
3) Ultron is voiced by Joe Pesci
4) Oscar bait themes, length and plot elements
5) A soundtrack that doesn't match the movie at all
1. A great story. The first movie's story was... passable at best. Nothing special and all it was there for was to let the team get together.
2. Let Hawkeye be relevant. It's the Avengers movie's fault that most of the general non comic book reading public view Hawkeye as a loser. Prove them wrong!
3. Make Ultron cool. Okay. You're not using Hank Pym? Fine. But make it so that I'm like: "Wow. That's the ONLY way it could have worked in this movie." Or hell! Even have a scene where Tony's like: "I had some other scientists helping me." "Like who?" "Oh I don't know... uh... Scott Grey, Hank Pym, ETC).
4. Don't overuse Iron Man. The first movie used Iron Man more then any other character. Look at the trailer and that's all you see. He has all the badass scenes in the movie and looking at the overall plot for this movie this has failed already.
5. Actually make this movie matter. So far with Phase 2 nothing has really happened. The first Phase of Marvel films was building up to the Avengers movie. We all knew that and we got excited... and now... Phase 2 is... building up to another Avengers movie? Wow. Okay. Well make this movie actually matter to the Universe! So far the only film that I feel has actually had a large impact on life in the Marvel Universe is... Captain America 2. I have seen Guardians. I don't want to feel like I've wasted hours of my life watching these movies where... out of the 4 of them (Iron Man, Thor, Cap and Guardians) only 2 have been Good/Great.
