Fiction Concerning pre-universe and creation of the universe

I'm just curious here - I know that in one Thor comic they showed Galactus was a pre-modern universe being, from the universe before this one, but are there any other works of fiction (Not just Marvel, but any fiction in general that talks of it) that focus around pre-modern universe or the beginnings of the universe?

@luhjgh: For the most part, not really. I can think of a few different series that contain a similar theme to the creation and destruction of universes (Like the Thran Saga - Invasion Saga of the Magic: The Gathering Lore) but most of the time that's not the focus. It also depends on what you're looking for. I'm mostly a Manga/Anime person, so if you're not looking for those I may be able to find someone else to help ya.
