For me, I think Marshall Rogers and Terry Austin will always be the correct answer for Batman. These books are 35 years old, and I still haven't seen a better Batman IMHO. Even with the better paper and artist tools they use now.
I have to disagree with anyone that pairs up Jim Lee with anyone. It's not that he isn't a great artist...but all of his characters tend to look the same. None of his characters ever really stand out. That's just my opinion. I do love his art..I just wish he'd spend a bit more time on making the characters more unique
All of the men have the same build and facial structure. Same goes for the Women. Even Wolfsbane and Feral look nearly identical...despite the fact that one is a wolf and the other a cat.
My personal Favourite Silver Surfer Artist Ron Lim.Dale Keown's Hulk is my favouriteAlways been partial to John Byrne's Superman. Admittedly his style is a bit "old fashioned" but then again...so is the man of steel
When it comes to illustrating God/Goddess-like characters, no one better than Mike Deodato JR. IMO. Loved both his Wonder Woman and Thor, and would've loved to have seen him illustrate a cross-over.

I must admit...These Batmans are awesome. I never liked Marshall Rogers b/c I felt his Silver Surfer was off, but his Batman looks sweet.
