My least favourite is a tie between 98% percent of the community, the site seems pretty cool but the majority of comments I read are meritless hate on X company/comic/artist.
Of course there's exceptions but it's extremely offputing having to slough through a hundred comments of people hating on material they havn't even read yet to find one decent comment.

I wish that were true, maybe I exaggerated the numbers a little but I stand by my opinion that the forums (for the mostpart, again, of course there's exceptions) are horrible.

A slight exaggeration is a severe understatement. There might be a small minority that constantly complain, but it isn't overflowing to the point you stated.

I'm complaining about the state of the forums so that they may change for the better. Not complaining about material I havn't even read because X company is publishing it or Y artist is illustrating it.

I would suggest you ask the mods to lock this thread before a problem gets started. A topic like this is only egging on negative attention and will cause a lot of arguments to get started. It can turn into a form of harassment very quickly.
