I'm going with Wonder Woman. Half her threads devolve into why people don't like/get Wonder Woman. I'll admit a lot of the stuff right before Gail's run were pretty bad (though I've heard good stuff about George Perez), but I loved her run on the character, and the stuff from the 40's (in a more "LoLsy" way).
hmmm. i don't think rachel summers belongs to the underrated list considering her exposure in uncanny x-men and the whole intergalactic fiasco in war of the kings... i don't know. maybe even writers have a hard time shaking off the residue jean grey has left her to deal with... she's almost like a rip-off to that character. and now here's hope...even with cable gone, she still can't come on top...on her OWN terms. i take it back, yeah! she is still underrated. loL!
@ComicMan24: Meggan...or Glorianna....don't know why they had to change her name though. totally underrated. if everyone would just ignore the size of my melons and give me the proper training, i could very well take on the likes of storm, crystal, ms. marvel, and even your momma! really.

Nova's starting to get noticed a bit more now that Steve selected him for the secret team. BUT...Captain Marvel has been relegated to a "DC Kids" type title!!!! WTF!? He should have a REAL monthly book and/or be a major player in the JLA at least!

I agree with you on the Captain Marvel point. They should emphasize him as a bigger player in the DC Universe.
@Decoy Elite: I think it's all because he's really just little Billy Batson trapped in a grown ups body...never mind how long the charcter has been around, the fact he's had his own live action TV show, Saturday morning cartoon, and has stallmated Superman in an arm wrestling contest!!

Well between my friends and others who don't read comics they always label Robin as lame and "gay" as well though I think myself and trhe other Tim Drake fanboy's on this site have won him some respect I still do not think many view him as the tactical and all around pure genius he is and his true followers realized he really surpassed Bruce mentally like 7 years ago. As for Dick I never see him receiving the respect he deserves as the amazing acrobat and fighter he is, he is far superior than Bruce as a acrobat and in agility yet everyone seems to place him low even though readers of his book would realize how ludicrous his acrobat feats are. I do not want to get in any debate over this again but I say he is better than a certain red horned blind man but what ever. And I never see him get support in battle threads
@Black Lantern Mar-vell: Yeah, I remember one JLA comic where Green Lantern(Kyle) commented on that and mentioned how he wished Superman was there. It seemed kind of random seeing as how powerful Captain Marvel is.

Dick is underestimated in battle threads and I'm with you on the red horned guy battle. I thought we were choosing characters underrated here on the vine. If we're talking all around, Robin does have a bad rep, but maybe the Teen Titans animated show gained respect for him. I doubt people outside of comics even know who people like Hawkman are, and they probably don't even know the names of any Green Lantern. Some of my friends thought that the only Green Lantern was black...
Haunt, maybe. Toxin's pretty underrated. I'm not sure if War Machine would be considered underrated, but he definitely gets less cred than he deserves. He gets overshadowed by Tony. Static has a lot of potential. I've been getting into Anti-Venom. You can say I'm one of the few people who like symbiotes. American Son.
I'm gonna stop there. There's too many to pick just one.
For me it's Wonder Woman. She has her own ongoing series, she superman level powers, nice weapons and fighting skills but people still don't give her much of a credit.
