Favorite superhero from Marvel and DC?

I'm curious to know what's everyones favorite hero from both Marvel and DC. For me my favorite hero from Marvel is the Web-Slinger himself Spider-Man and from DC Green Lantern (Hal Jordan).

my are:

1) marvel=Captain America

2)D.C=earth 2's alan scott he is awesome!! i really like he's new back story and stuff :)

3) and superman's and batman's fan base can.....you know what to me :D

My top hero list changes from month to month, but this week I would say DC:Superman, Marvel: either Deadpool or Thor.

Spider-man remains Marvel's best character, though Cap is a close second.

DC...Batman and Green Lantern are the only ones I even like, and I can't decide.
