Fav pokemon or fav of each type?
Already done this. I'll look for it.

I think I was the one who wrote it as each type though.
My favourites (who are, even in black and white, my active party) are, in no particular order:
Okay, well actually Heracross is my favourite but the rest are a tie.
the Pokémon are the same across all the forms of media and or entertainment. You should ask what is your favorite pokémon and what is your favorite TCG card.
or you could just say which is your favorite to use in TCG, to use in the game, or in the anime(or just in general)
I'll answer all of them:
TCG - I don't play it. I played it when I was a kid and I had a special Ho-oH card which was freaking awesome, it's one of the few I still have left.
in the games - I really like to use Torterra, it's freaking awesome
in general - Rayquaza is my favorite one but Kyurem is getting close and so is Ho-Oh
in the anime - it may sound Cliché but Pikachu is freaking awesome. Ash's Charizard was pretty cool too and Celebi from the movies is an awesome fellow as well
Favorite type = Dragon, no doubt, followed by Grass, Fire and Ground.
PS: I also freaking adore Fossil Pokémon. If they were a type, they'd be my favorite type!
Charizard all around everywhere.
Fire - Charizard
Grass - Torterra
Water - Blastoise
Steel - Steelix
Bug - Scyther
Psychic - Mewtwo
Ice - Walrein
Dark - Umbreon
Electric - Jolteon
Flying - Pidgeot
Ghost - Gengar
Fighting - Hitmonlee
Dragon - Dragonite
Normal - Tauros
Poison - Weezing
Rock - Onyx
Ground - Dugtrio
I think that's all of them.
Bulbasaur was my fav when I use to play. I also liked Golduck and Totodile a lot too.
Fire - Arcanine.
Grass - (1)Venusaur/(2)Roserade.
Water - (1)Gyarados/ (2)Feraligatr.
Steel - Metagross.
Bug - Scyther.
Psychic - Espeon.
Ice - Glaceon.
Dark - Umbreon.
Electric - (1)Jolteon/(2)Electivire.
Flying - Pidgeot/Skarmory.
Ghost - Gengar.
Fighting - Heracross.
Dragon - Garchomp.
Normal - Eevee.
Posion - Crobat.
Rock - Tyrannitar.
Ground - Flygon.
Snorlax, of course.
I'm old school. To hell with all those fancy newer pokemon. So...
Muk
Snorlax
Raichu
Charizard
Farfetch'd
Flareon...I don't know why, but I really like Flareon.
Swampert, Blaziken and Sceptile.
I think Charizard, Pikachu, Onix, and Gyarados are really awesome.
(Controversial thought!)

PLUSLE AND MINUN!! I love them....so MUCH!
^_^
EDIT: I should explain why though. It has very little to do with strength, or how they look. I love their relationship. They complement each other perfectly. They care more about each other than themselves, they have electric pom-poms, and they get SO excited when they see their friends winning!! Plusle and Minun love to cheer other people and Pokemon on to victory, and they especially like to encourage each other. They are the very definition of support, encouragement, and friendship.

@John Valentine: No way man; he cared too much about his pokemon to go against their will--Pikachu chose not to evolve, and Ash would wait until he was ready, not like the D-Bag "Silver"
Pikachu was never ready, though.
It's irresponsible of him to leave him in its weak, unevolved form. Imagine how many beatings that could have been prevented if only he'd used that Thunderstone?

@John Valentine: Ash has encountered more Legendary Pokemon than pretty much any other character, and his Pikachu can hang with any of them, not to mention being able to kick any Raichu's ass :) I do see your point though.
Valid point, but still, if that Pikachu were a Raichu....
Electric - Raichi
Normal - Snorlax
Bug - Scyther
Rock - Golem
Poison - Muk
Leaf - Bulbasaur
Fire - Charizard
Fly - Pidgeot
Ground - Marowak
Where do people like Muk and Golem? Urgh. They look horrible.
@Hax0r: but were you asking us if we like them in terms of design or looks? cause in some people's case their favorite doesn't have to do with how they look...
and yeah, each gen has a new world on itself, that adds to the previous ones, but I was saying, each format, has unique stuff (like TCG has different cards for the same pokémon, the games only have one type of sprite for the same pokémon) and people have personal favorites in each format that might differ (like me, some of my favorite cards weren't exactly my favorite pokémon, and some Pokémon in the anime are annoying even though I like them in the games)
