Favorite Modern Comicbook Movie Soundtrack

You forget Daredevil and that Evanescence OST. <-----LOL.

Anyways, Dark Knight by far and away. No contest, hands down. Powerful, mood-fitting, it accentuates the scenes perfectly, and it's exciting and yet haunting at the same time.

Don't know about the soundtrack as a whole but Magneto's theme in X-Men First Class was awesome. I think that might have been either Hans Zimmer or Henry Jackman, can't remember.

Man of Steel, one of the best soundtrack's on a movie period

I actually bought the entire soundtrack and put it on my ipod lol, it was that good for me

Man of Steel without question. Score was completely amazing. Hans' best CBM movie score, no contest. Probably his best overall score since Lion King and Gladiator.

*Trying to restrain myself from a Hans Zimmer rant*

Probably the Spiderman-2 soundtrack by Danny Elfman, it is the most consistent consistent in tone, thematic development, and intelligent instrumentation. The only problem that with it was that it was underutilized in the film, there were certain cues that were in the soundtrack that sounded awesome but was mysteriously absent from the film.

The Dark Knight Trilogy, Zimmer's best CBM work IMO

Rises,the Bane chant kicks the crap out of everything else.

Batman Begins is very underrated with not only the film it self but with the soundtrack.

Man of Steel

Even though I didn't really like the movie, Kick-Ass had a great score.

Batman Begins whole soundtrack was epic.

X-Men First Class. Magneto theme is the best CBM villain theme easily.

Scott Pilgrim vs. the World and Kick-Ass have great soundtracks. The Dark Knight has a great score, too.
