Ultimates, no question!

#2 Posted by akbogert (3286 posts) - - Show Bio

I'm voting for Civil War for two reasons: It's the only thing here I've actually read, and it was the first major Marvel thing I read in the last decade.

#3 Posted by Billy Batson (59146 posts) - - Show Bio

No Swamp Thing? It's hist longest run.

Or Superman Adventures?

Red Son. So, so good.

Red Son, Old man Logan and Civil war.

I vote Red Son

#6 Edited by Saren (26647 posts) - - Show Bio

The Authority and Red Son.

#7 Posted by ccraft (10170 posts) - - Show Bio

I've only read Civil War, and I plan on getting Old Man Logan.

#8 Posted by Tacos_Kickass (844 posts) - - Show Bio

Picked Nemesis since its the only one I read.

#9 Posted by inferiorego (22628 posts) - - Show Bio

This is the hardest question to answer yet.... darn you, Gregg... darn you

#10 Posted by capuga (46 posts) - - Show Bio

Lot of good options there but I went with Kick Ass.

#11 Posted by Vortex13 (12138 posts) - - Show Bio

The Authority for me.

I've only read half of these.

Ultimate X-men was the first comic book i ever read

#15 Posted by GrandHarrier (124 posts) - - Show Bio

There is only one answer. You know what it is.

The first six graphic novel volumes of Ultimate X-men got me into comics after i played X-men Legends. Ultimates is my second choice.

I don't know.......... Old Man Logan was a fever dream fun. Old Wolverine and Old Hawkeye goes on a road trip in the Spidey Buggy! It had a freaking Venom Dinosaur!

Love everything he's done except for kick-ass, romita jr's artwork just ruins it for me, the guy is a hack.

Civil War

#22 Posted by Mucklefluga (2647 posts) - - Show Bio

Have to go with Civil War, but i really wanna buy Red Son and read it.

#23 Posted by redhood21 (833 posts) - - Show Bio

batman in red son has the coolest bat suit

#24 Edited by DonFelipe (1681 posts) - - Show Bio

Red Son for me as I haven't read any of the other comics yet (except for some Ultimate X-Men that I didn't like), and Red Son is my favorite Elseworlds stories anyways. :P

#25 Posted by dondave (39854 posts) - - Show Bio

1. Nemesis

2. Ultimates

3. Kick-Ass

4. Civil War

5. Wanted

#26 Posted by Novemberx2 (502 posts) - - Show Bio

The Ultimates is by far my favourite, its sad that people don't appreciate how much it influenced and changed the avengers. Sadly everything that was cool has been emulated by the marvel mainstream avengers books.

Old Man Logan is classic.

and of the millarworld stuff, i found superior to be pretty amazing, its started off pretty dumb but really paid off at the end.

#27 Posted by JJ62 (1363 posts) - - Show Bio

How about his run on Daredevil?

#28 Posted by Deranged Midget (18230 posts) - - Show Bio

Red Son without a moment's hesitation! Probably followed by Enemy of the State/Old Man Logan.

#29 Posted by Arkhamc1tizen (2202 posts) - - Show Bio

I can't decide

Red Son is the best alternate earth take on comrade superman!

#32 Edited by Hawkguy (622 posts) - - Show Bio

Nemesis for me, I thought it was super fun. Definitely gonna read Old Man Logan. Though Superior was quite alright as well. Mark Millar is a very love/hate writer for me. Sometimes he hits the homerun, other times its an utter strikeout

#33 Posted by VeganDiet (1155 posts) - - Show Bio

The correct answer is Marvel Knights Spider-man.

#34 Posted by JamDamage (1195 posts) - - Show Bio

He is the reason I even read the Avengers and the FF. I don't even like the 616 FF but his take on the Ult. FF was just awsome. I had actually dropped all X titles except for his Ult. X-Men run which I think is just incredible too. I wasn't a huge fan of his Spider-man run tho.

#35 Edited by JamDamage (1195 posts) - - Show Bio

He did a run on DD?? When?

#36 Posted by InnerVenom123 (29814 posts) - - Show Bio

I clicked Ultimates and then noticed Red Son right after.

Red Son should've gotten my vote.

#37 Posted by G_Money_Christmas (901 posts) - - Show Bio

I voted Civil War simply because it's the only one I've read and I liked it. I would really like to read Red Son, though.

#38 Posted by AllStarSuperman (26821 posts) - - Show Bio

Kick-Ass, Superior, and red son. Kick ass got my vote.

#39 Edited by BobFromAccounting (20 posts) - - Show Bio

No option for 'This Looks Like a Job for Superman'? No? Guess I'll be moseying along then...

#40 Posted by tximinoman (295 posts) - - Show Bio

I choose CHOSEN. It's his best comic by far.

#41 Edited by TDK_1997 (15879 posts) - - Show Bio

Can't choose. It's a tie between The Authority,Civil War and Red Son.

#42 Edited by JediXMan (32258 posts) - - Show Bio

Ultimates 1 and 2, definitely. Followed by Superman: Red Son.

#43 Edited by MadeinBangladesh (9891 posts) - - Show Bio

Civil War? really?? Old Man Logan FTW

#44 Posted by Agent_Prince (153 posts) - - Show Bio

I never liked Red Son. Couldn't even finish it. Civil War was very good, but Kick-Ass is original and 'pure' comic book. Not for everyone though of course.

#45 Posted by SupermanJohnathanKentJr (312 posts) - - Show Bio

Civil War being being at 20% has made me lose faith in comicvine.

I have to decide between Old Man Logan and Superman Red Son. Wolverine Enemy Of The State is close and I still need to read The Ultimates.

#46 Posted by Onemoreposter (4242 posts) - - Show Bio

Had to go with Wanted. Such a beautiful, dark, and twisted tribute to the DC universe/multiverse I have never seen.

#47 Posted by tec79 (168 posts) - - Show Bio

Red Son

Ultimates vol.1

Fantastic Four (616) with Brian Hytch

Ultimates vol.2

#48 Posted by bladewolf (1038 posts) - - Show Bio

If not for Red Son, I wouldn't even be reading comics now. That comic brought me back into the fold and helped me see comics in a new light. Definitely gets my vote.

#49 Posted by Owie (4705 posts) - - Show Bio

Several good ones, but Marvel 1985 and Kick Ass were the comics that brought me back to comics after being out for a while. I voted for 1985.

#50 Edited by RedheadedAtrocitus (6958 posts) - - Show Bio

Red Son, for sure.
