Ivan Reis. Jim's New 52 work is hollow compared to his Pre-52 stuff, which is my favorite stuff.

As man my two favorite artists, this is tough for me

I love the way Jim Lee drew Superman and Batman, they just look "right" to me

Reis does better facial expressions and his work on Blackest Night might be my personal favorite of all time

If I had to choose one I'd just go with Jim Lee though

Jim Lee's art work really bothers me on Unchained. So along with the shotty art and boring story that book is practically unreadable to me... and yet I still buy it.

Jim Lee is a much better artist. Before and after new 52. His vibrant colors and attention to details are strong and look amazing

He doesn't color his work, or ink it.
Scott Williams(inker) and Alex Sinclair (colorist) are his most frequent collaborators.

Jim Lee has draw for a lot of my favorite books, so I picked him. Ivan Reis is a better artist, though. Ivan drew for Aquaman vol 1 which is my favorite Aquaman book, and he did a great job on Justice League.

@jayc1324:

How th actual f--k can you come away from the examples above and say Jim lee has attention to detail, but not Reis? HOW ON THIS EARTH? There is 50 times the detail in Reis's work than in lees

@movieartman: That is literally just one panel. That's it. One panel doesn't define their entire careers

Not gotta lie I enjoy Jim's art more, but if it comes to who I wish was placed in any series I love it's Ivan. Jim is just to unprofessional.

I like Jim Lee for his classic look. Ivan Reis is very good at the blockbuster style but Jim Lee is well suited for DC's mythology much the same is for Alex Ross.
