@citizenbane: I have ZERO shame admitting the conclusion nearly brings about manly tears every single time.

The Hal vs Sinestro fight in First Flight is pretty cool too.

All the Batman ones have been spectacular. But I think Year One was my favorite. I like that its a Jim Gordon story as much as a Batman story.

Wonder Woman, period.

I liked UTRH first time watching it, but the second rewatch left me bored.

Under the Red Hood handily. Man-tears were shed in the watching of the film.

#13 Posted by Danial79 (2346 posts) - - Show Bio

Under The Red Hood without a doubt.

I have a special place in my heart for Justice League: Doom, for it was the first JL/DC movie I ever saw. It was actually why I started reading DC along side Marvel... I also really loved First Flight. It was the movie Green Lantern should have been. And I actually didn't think UTRH was that special. Maybe because I don't like Jason Todd that much.

I voted for Doom though. Such an awesome movie.

#16 Posted by Joygirl (19325 posts) - - Show Bio

Doom by a small margin, mostly because of Claudia Black as Cheetah. UTRH and Wonder Woman close behind.

Under the Red Hood, it was a perfect film. Number two is probably Crisis on Two Earths, and Three would be Wonder Woman

Superman/Batman.The fight in that was crazy, with darksied against superman.

Where is Batman Mask of the Phantasm, That is the beast animated DC Movie!

It's pretty close between Red Hood and All Star Superman for me, but I think I'm going to bow to the populist vote and go with Red Hood.

UTRH, directed by Brandon Vietti who is behind of Young Justice. What do you expect? It's perfect in every sense.

#23 Posted by SupBatz (1727 posts) - - Show Bio

Under the Red Hood easily. I'd go as far as to say it trumps all of the live-action DC films as well.

Year One! Best Batman story EVER made the best DC animated EVER!!! Until DC makes a Kingdom Come animated. Then that will be the best one EVER!!!

#26 Posted by Extremis (3344 posts) - - Show Bio

@ninjaduck88: yep I wanted that too. But I guess that was before they started calling them DC Aninated 'Original Movies'. But yeah I feel ya, otherwise that ones the best.

I picked JL:Doom

Under the red hood takes it for me.... though i really wish this was more of rating films rather than choose one as the best :(

Under the Red Hood handily. Man-tears were shed in the watching of the film.

How fitting since you watched this again yesterday. All the feels in this movie plus, You can't ask for more than watching Nightwing stab Amazo in the ears. This movie also has my favorite non- DC Earth-12 Animated Universe voice cast. They turned a sub-par comic into an amazing story on film. Hopefully the same team behind this movie can do the same for Battle for the Cowl.

I considered that and a few others, but ultimately I wanted to limit it to DC's "modern" films, and that began with Doomsday.

Wonder Woman was a brilliant introduction to the character with great fight scenes and writing. I'd say its my favorite because those that are really superior to it, i.e. year one, all star, and dkr, are simple adaptations.

Either between Under the Red Hood, Crisis on Two Earths, or Wonder Woman.

Jansen Ackles was the perfect voice for Jason Todd. Everything about UTRH was perfect.

#48 Posted by yo_yo_fun (643 posts) - - Show Bio

It's so hard to pick just ONE!...but I'll go w/ Wonder Woman...

#49 Posted by chadparnell1 (4 posts) - - Show Bio

I had no idea what to expect once I started to watch Red Hood. It was a great film that left me with a few tears and reopened my love of comics that had been hibernating for 10 plus years!

Agreed he is an awesome Red Hood.. I honestly can't find anything to complain about when it comes to UTRH, probably the only thing I can think of is nightwing. Wasn't a fan of his voice acting (by Neil Patrick Harris) and some parts of his character design that's it.
