Grendel is the only one I read.

I haven't read most of those, but The Walking Dead is amazing. I also loved Elf Quest, though I don't remember if they were originally B&W and got colorized, or if the B&W omnibus that came out just did that for some reason. I remember reading some oversized collections of them about 20 years ago that I could swear were in color though.

I always loved the original Eastman & Laird run on TMNT, although once the series lost continuity and just became a bunch of random adventures, I lost interest.

The Walking Dead

Boneyard. I remember that.

@freefa11: I looked into it. Elfquest is in fact black and white, though there is a color version of at least some of the books - maybe all of them. I don't know anything about it, so I'm glad you recommended it.

Well I used to love Jhonen Vasquez and Roman Dirge's stuff and I just started Empowered on a friend's recommendation.

Black and white comics annoy me.

@black_wreath: I did that too. Empowered is a one-gimmick, one-joke comic, but that joke isn't funny. I recommend against it if you don't like the first few issues.
