Fantastic Four 2015 seems better than Avengers movies (MCU)

Avengers and Avengers Age of Ultron is obviously way more profitable.... but guys admit it, it is difficult for so many characters in that movie to have meaningful character development and interaction.

I think with regards to that aspect, the 2015 film incarnation of the Fantastic Four is better than Avengers Age of Ultron... despite the former's huge negative reception. The writers really established the four youngsters' personalities and interactions well before the action kicks in.

I dislike Age of Ultron, but it was eye candy with CGI and fights.

I would have to disagree there friend. Fantastic four had potential, started off really well into a very different kind of a movie. They could have pulled it off but the movie went nowhere.

In regards to Age of Ultron, I was disappointed on the titular villains portrayal but the movie was not too bad overall.

I haven't seen Fant4stic yet, but it has to be better than AOU.

FF is definitely over-hated

They're roughly the same level. Ant-Man was way better than both of them. Overall it was just a weak CBM year, I'm ready for 2016.

I haven't seen FF, but even Green Lantern hit it better with the audiences and critics alike. Now THAT is saying something

The first 50 minutes of Fantastic Four was better than the first half of Anvengers, but the last half of Avengers was better than the last 30 minutes of Fantastic Four in my opinion. I havent seen AoU so I dont know how it stacks up against it.

To answer your question, I THINK the director had no idea what he was doing, and even if his "version" was released, it would probably be even worse than what we got (and that's saying something)

I thought it was great.. not better than the first one but i wouldn't mind seeing it again.

I'm not the biggest fan of age of Ultron, but it's nowhere near as bad as fantastic 4.

Only the First half was great.

Wait people really think AoU was as bad as FF? AoU had too many things it was trying to do at once and too much of it was cut out. The movie has its flaws, but FF was just an outright failure. Movie went nowhere, Doom's motivations were nearly nonexistent, there was little plot, there was no character development, there was too much exposition and build up for a weak, anticlimactic conclusions, and the movie was just bad. At least AoU tried to do something, and was very fun to watch.

Goodness don't even speak like this again , Fantastic 4 (2015) worst film I've ever seen . You cannot even compare this to Avengers , I would give Fantastic 4 a 3/10 .

I disagree entirely.

FF failed as a superhero movie, it failed as a science fiction movie, it failed to capture the source material, and it failed as a movie in general (doesn't have three acts). That's not even going into the bad writing or the obvious reshoots and bad edits.

The Avengers movies are flawed, but Fantastic Four is... moreoso.

Fant4stic had a good cast, scary villain, good body horror and some good moments in the first half, BUT...

No beginning, middle and end narrative structure.

Too much of Fant4stic takes place in that lab, for no reason.

Tonally inconsistent, it tries to be broody reinvention, then you have the cheesy "name pick" scene.

Really shoddy dialogue.

Terrible final fight like a Japanese Role Playing Game. Villain on one side, heroes side by side on another.

They wasted Michael B. Jordon. Michael B. effing Jordan. Watch him in Creed. He's a phenomenal actor.

The most self ashamed superhero movie. This isn't an exaggeration.
