Fanboyism is Stupid

This is bad thread if i offended anyone im sorry i will not do it again. I was just getting a little annoyed with hate against other charecters which kinda make me a fanboy. please dont comment on this anymore since im new and dont know how to lock it.

I think we're all fanboys..... I never could hide it...alot of people on here that know me know that in the past, I could never admitt to when my beloved character would lose....LOL

@ratman19: I suggest that you read Joseph Campbell's "The Hero With a Thousand Faces." One of the overriding themes of the book is that we as people find heroes and we create them if necessary as part of who we are as a people, a civilization and a species. In this sense it is not really different if we are idolizing Batman or Odysseus. It speaks to the same thing within us. Fanboys might take it too far, but so do people who think that some person from the past was the best ever actor/athlete/politician. Your point kind of makes the point that you seem to be above and beyond the appeal of fandom, while also advocating the same fanboys just try other characters, are you therefore not really guilty by proxy of doing what you accused them of?

I'm sorry I disagreed with your opinion. It's not like discussion and exchange of opinions,facts and ideas are part of using a forum or anything. Whining about Fanboys is worse than being one. Everybody on this forum knows what a fanboy is and that they are out there. If they bother you, you just do what you are SUPPOSED to do with trolls, ignore them. Fanboys have no actual effect on your life, so why do you care?

You know what I find creepy? Sports fan boys. Knowing an insane amount of personal details that you don't need to know is odd when its about a fictional character but its down right freaky to know that level of detail about a real person that you've never met.
