People keep telling me, DBZ is bigger in the USA that in México.

DRAGON BALL Z: BATTLE OF GODS

USA Total as of Aug. 12, 2014:$2,553,002

México in his opening weekend: $2,771,594

The Mexican Ticket Price is around 2 to 3 bucks.

American Ticket Price is around 8 to 9 bucks.

3 times more mexicans saw the movie in 3 days, that "americans" in one week.

México is the second biggest market for Dragon Ball Z.

Also we have DBZ related thing that no other place on the world would have.

People vote for Kakarott for President.

I have never see anything Saint Seiya related on street or anything about Saint Seiya that became part of the Mexican culture.

Dragon Ball its part of the Mexican culture.

That shows a bigger impact.

I'm not surprised. The fact that America embraced DBZ as much as it has is a phenomenon to begin with.

I cant' believe there are people who were arguing over DBZ's popularity in Mexico vs USA in the first place.

Thank you, several people make a big deal of this and make an special thread.

I dont.

I cant' believe there are people who were arguing over DBZ's popularity in Mexico vs USA in the first place.

DBZ English speacking fan base believe they are so big and the biggest market outside Japan.

Its like the Spanish speacking Saint Seiya fan base, they keep lying on how great they are.

Yeah, its great to hear people isnt bashing latin dub.

Some forums cant deal with the Latin American Dud Praise, which is dumb.

Slam Dunk,Ranma, Yu Gi Oh and Sailor Moon, were other great examples.
