Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson from Captain America: The Winter Soldier, or Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone as seen in The Amazing Spider-Man 1 and 2. Which pair had the most chemistry and was more enjoyable to watch on screen? Their commonly regarded as some of the best working pairs to appear in film, as a result of Evans and Johansson being close friends in real life and of course Andrew and Emma being together. But who was able to transfer that to film best?

Garfield and Stone no doubt they pull off the teens in love great.

Garfield and stone. Had great chemistry, Johansson and Evans weren't that great actors and were cold and not trusting of each other and pretty emotionless. They had no connection. Even her kiss to cap at the end of the movie felt awkward. On the other hand SPOILER

I really felt for peter when Gwen died, that was a great and powerful scene. And there was great chemistry when they met up again after breaking up and had their "ground rules" for moving forward.

Garfield > All of them. And Johansson is just terrible.

Whatever, working these captions was annoying.

Definitely Garfield/Stone, their relationship and chemistry is one of the best highlights in the Amazing Spider-Man films. Every scene they're in just seems more genuine and alot more fun.

Oh, and I think Emma Stone is hotter than Scarlett...

Also this but, it isn't by much.

This shouldn't even be asked. Terrible comparison. I vote Stone and Garfield best superhero movie couple of all time as far as chemistry and just pure on screen magnetism.

how about Evans and Atwell (Peggy)? :D

#14 Posted by oOSupermanThatHoeOo (647 posts) - - Show Bio

@batmannflash: But they had very little representative chemistry. I actually just rewatched it. I blame the script actually, so nevermind me.

Personally I can't stand Garfield as Spidey, but he and Stone definitely have better chemistry. They also have the benefit to also be dating in real life so there's that, plus Cap and Widow weren't really romantic in Cap 2.

I don't think Cap and BW even held hands... Anyway, I caught a little arrow necklace on BW before they were going to battle, so there is that too.

P-p-pro-ba-bba-bly G-Garfield *nervous laugh* and St-st-stone.

In Evans and Johansson's defense, their characters weren't really written as a romantic couple so much as a platonic friendship, so understandably the chemistry is probably less played up.

Any scene in Amazing Spider-Man or AM2 with Garfield or Stone was the highlight of both "Meh" movies. But I like the partners in crime aspect of Evans and Johansson, they have infectious chemistry. So I can't decide.

Having chemistry doesn't mean being romantic. One of Captain America's highlights was the interactions between Steve and Natasha.

Scarlet is hot.

I'm not a big fan of her, but Emma looked pretty good in ASM2
