@movieartman: wow if he looks like that in the movie then that is a great aquaman loook. Guess he doesnt have to look exactly like aquaman ftom the comics to still give an aqua man vibe.

im right there with you, but if they have to go with there more barbarian style aquaman and not the sleek wise king aquaman, you could do much worse than momoa

@movieartman: Yeah, I'm kinda hoping they mix the two like Jim Lee did when Aquaman first appeared in the New 52

I, in all honestly - wouldn't think the Aquaman suit of the comic books would adapt well into Snyder's cinematic universe. But that's just my opinion, though :P

@theamazingspidey: That's part of the reason I don't like Snyder's universe. Still, I can hope, and ounce again great actor so I won't complain.

Well... similar to ASM2 - I'm hoping DCCU will rip itself out of it's comfort zone and into a more comic universe. And Wonder Woman's gear is controversial and I can easily picture Aquaman's will be too ^^

@theamazingspidey: Yeah the WW outfit is both a good and bad sign. It's good because it is comic accurate, but bad because it lacks color.

I believe the primary gripes from some is because WW's outfit resembles a warrior in Batman v. Superman - although in the comic book's, her gear is more of a... leader like gear. Nonetheless - I'm confident it'll look awesome on the big screen.

tbh even though its not a "Trident" if you have it that way, I totally prefer the 5 tipped spear.

Ronan was my favorite character on Stargate Altantis. I know he'll at least bring the badass Arthur needs to shut up the negative opinions. (btw...that's some irony there...a guy who played on a TV show about Altantis is now playing its King :P or "rumored" anyway)

Why, bullets cant hurt him, armor makes more sense if you are talking of Batman or Green Arrow, since bullets can kill them.

@deathpoolthet1000: I just like the armor as for needing it we have no idea how powerful he is and he most likely won't be fighting people with just bullets if they want him to keep up with MOS Superman.

Broody, warrior Aquaman is my least favorite interpretation of him (hated him in JL/JLU). I kinda want either the reluctant prince like in New 52 or the regal king in Young Justice.

But, I have Aquaman on screen, so I can't complain too much.

@the_stegman: Not just you in the Aquaman forum people voted for the normal Aquaman like the Aquaman the movies should have.

That's so sick... I hope he looks something like that. I hope that's like Battle armor Aurthor, and something more kingly if he is ever shown in Atlantis.

A good concept, but I don't want him to look like this in the DCCU. Keep the hair and beard look, but I don't think shirtless would be the best way to go.
