Epic/Cultural Heroes of Pre-1000's

For a story I am writing, I'm looking for heroes that supposedly at around the same time periods.

For this particular idea, I'm looking for heroes who lived around the 5th or 6th century. So far, I have four: King Arthur, Hua Mulan, Beowulf & Sinbad the Sailor, but I'm looking for more. I prefer them to be from different cultures.

Any suggests would be great, so please do so.

actually just go to the wiki page for 5th century or 6th century. and go to the Significant People section

Thanks, but it didn't really work to well, as Wikipedia only shows those that either did, or may have existed.
