Emily Blunt = Ms Marvel?

I was just scrolling down the page of an online British tabloid newspaper, and stumbled upon this.

Naturally, I am skeptical; but normally (being the operative word here), the journalists who write for this tabloid work on rumour and rarely on truth. Having not heard anything else on the topic, (nothing at all), I was wondering whether anyone else had heard anything about it. If it's true, I will be ecstatic. Though I'm not optimistic on it's authenticity. (Because we haven't heard a thing on possible casting...have we?)

By the way, it says that Emily Blunt has been approached to play Ms Marvel/ there have been early deals.

Apparently it's also due to be filmed next year.....plummeting my belief this is in anyway accurate. Unless they're casting early to get appearances in the other films.
