Electro? Really?

I just saw pictures of Jamie fox as Electro on the set of the new spider-man movie and it is quite possibly the worst thing i have ever seen in a comic book movie. I am saddened that anyone who calls them self a comic book or Spider-Man fan will watch this movie. If you cannot accurately recreate a character in your movie use another one. If we as comic fans keep paying for trash like this the movies will keep moving farther from the source material.

I think that's a bit much. There's way more worse sh*t in comic book movies.

I like it. We've seen Electro look like that in the past and obviously this is Foxx without and SFX or CGI I have a feeling once thats added you'll be looking at a different thing entirely.

You can't judge it based on that picture alone. His costume hasn't even been polished let alone finished, yet. Do you really think the original Electro would translate well onto screen? Some things look really cool in freeze frame in comic books, but imagine the bolt on his head. How would that look on screen? Would it be styrofoam? It would be very difficult to make that look badass, even on Jamie Foxx who is the very definition of badass.

Trash? Calm down. These movies have been generally great, and even if they aren't your favorites, you can hardly call them trash. What you're doing is like eating a raw steak, and telling the chef "YOU DID HORRIBLY ON THIS! WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS?" Keep in mind, it's not steak tartar, and the chef hasn't even had a chance to see the steak yet alone prepare it. Give them a chance to actually make it, don't just say it sucks because of an early shot that you should be grateful to even see.

Dude, his costume hasn't even been made yet. Much less no CGI or effects. It's not even finished and you're already bashing it. Electro is a cool villain, I hope they do a great job.

All we have is electro's look and thats it. we have no idea what the character is like or the story so we cant say this is already horrible when you have no evidence. please, nothing can be worse than the idiotic dust cloud

This costume is fine in the comics but he would look like an absolute retard on the big screen if he wore this.

I think that nerdy dude from that 70's show playing Venom is worse, Venom is a badass not a goober.
