Just how fast does doomsday adapt in a fight,,I frequently debate a kid who says the doomsday "will instantly absorb the abilities of his opponent". I thought this happened as the fight went on? Any help will be appreciated thanks
As I understand it, he doesn't "instantly absorb" anything. If he fights someone or something with an advantage against him, he needs to get beaten around for at least a few minutes before developing a way to counter them. And even then, he doesn't get his opponents powers, he just gets extensions of his own powers. Stronger bones covering an area where he was impaled, the ability to breathe underwater, ect.
