In the comments of my previous blog, I noticed that a lot of people said that they would become supervillains or at least anti-heroes and mercenaries instead of a superhero. So I'm asking this: Is the life of a supervillain better that the life of a superhero? Do you people think that it has more advantages? What is your opinion?
Does the life of a villain seem attractive to you?
Anti-Villian or Anti-Heroe, i dont see life in Dark Side and Ligth Side only, for the same i could never be a Heroe or a Villian.
@ComicMan24 said:" @InnerVenom123 said:" Would rather be an anti-hero. Villains always lose. "Good point. "
I totally would
I'm jsut waiting for someone to don a mask and become a vigilante hero for real
.....so that I can oppose him.......
Lets see, the advantages of being a villain include: everybody hating you, jail time or death if you mess up, and wealth/power that you could have gotten legally if you really were a genius or talented. That, and you get the pleasure of hurting people if you're a sadist.
So no, I don't find it appealing personally.
There is a bunch of guys, they call themselve Rel Life Superheroes, there is evn forumd, where they say the god thing they do in real life.
I will become a villien just for teh fact there is at least like 50 guys and only one villian.
Then i will be rich and wil take ouver the world.
yeah, I've seen them online before
but they seem like nice guys
I couldn't try to oppose nice people doign good things
but some self-righteous a-hole who thinks he's above the law........I'd put him in a giant hourglass, I would
I could do it, I could become a villain, all I need to do is accumulate a vast amount of power, cast my humanity aside and...
Then you dont want to join my Supervillian Squad?
Yeah, at least some of the heroes, actually do some change, most of people only car that no ones does something and when some one does, they tell him he is insane.
Cast aside all ties to your humanity? Dominate and destory everything that stands in the way of your ambition? Speak in third person and frequently quote Sun Tzu? Hell yeah, I'd be a villain.
Or better talk like Venom, We hatea SPYDEERMEAN, PITIER PARRRKER BRING MEH MOAR PICTURES.
Doom level yes, having my ass handed to me by a brightly coloured costumed teenager every week like say Shocker for instance, no thanks.
" @Yaujtapool: The you wish to have a mask all days for the rest of your live? "Sure why not
@G'bandit: Bad guys are bad, thats why they are bad guys, some are more bad that others.
http://www.4thletter.net/ruined/cabal7.jpg" @Yaujtapool: What about being kissed and girl deont run away from you?
@G'bandit: Bad guys are bad, thats why they are bad guys, some are more bad that others. "
@Yaujtapool:
Still he cant kiss them.
There cannot be evil without good so in fear that I would be maimed or severely injured..possibly even die.No! If I was a villain..there WOULD be a hero.
In the real world being a Supervillain would be much more easy and remunerative than being an hero, that’s for sure.
Also, in the real world Supervillains would never lose.
Yeah, I’m a bit pessimistic, that’s true...
Talking about comics, being a supervillain is cool only if you are on the level of Doom-Darkseid-Brainiac, people that people fear and have enough powers to keep their positions.
On the other hand, if you are someone like Dr. Light (pre-Identity Crisi), life really suck...
It's actually quite cool. Being able to kill in order to get your way without fear of retribution because of your skill does sound quite attractive. Sure, people may dislike you, but you'd be famous, and no one would really know who you are during the day. And the advantage of having what you want when you want it is pretty cool, although i'd probably be more like ra's al ghul, someone who doesn't care about justifying the means in order to gain the ends. So yes, in a dark, twisted way it is quite a cool thing. Although being a hero is equally attractive for other reasons
I'd Want to Be an Anti-Villain, like Magneto or Ol' Doc Doom... Most Heroes willl Be with Ya, and the villains won't have a Motive to go after ya.
If I suddenly popped up in either the Marvel or DC universes and had super-powers I would most definitely become a super-hero. However if I suddenly acquired powers right this moment, I would either decide to work for the army or try to be a hero. My biggest problem would be the temptation to become a villain because I would have all this power and not a single person on the planet could stop me. If I ever did become a villain however, I'd like to think I would eventually find my way back to the side of the good.
