Does Nth metal in comics disrupt magic?

ok, I was just thinking. Hawkgirl in the JL and JLU cartoons signature ability apart from flying was her ability to disrupt and cancel magic with her mace. So Im wondering does Nth metal in comics have the same effect?

Dont know about channeling it but it does disrupt it. That much i know.

If there is a Magical entity that couldn't be hurt by anything else,Nth Metal should be able to hurt it.

I haven't noticed that this translates to the comics but I could be wrong.
