So.. what do we discuss?
Edit: Let's start..
Mightnight vs Blink. Which was better?
Blink. The answer is always blink.
We should discuss stuff in general, like episodes and news, or talk about if X episode or companion is better, shipping, etc...
Basically all things Who.

Personally found midnight to be a little better..

Ok. I was just thinking of a starting topic.. as in.. right now.
Alright well I'll just say that Rose was the best companion and the first one I watched Lol
Indeed. By a freaking longshot.

Great question, I just changed my write up about seven times writing this, but I've got to go with Midnight by a sliver, it's probably the best bottle episode of TV I've ever seen and I still find it genuinely scary. It just embodies what Doctor Who is all about, it's fricking amazing. I still miss Russel T. Davies.
Both are amazing and are legitimately terrifying though.
Also, I think the mythology of the Weeping Angels was ruined by Moffat in the Eleventh's run, he should have just left them where they were and never touched them again, there was something wonderfully creepy about them that when you keep seeing them and start to unravel them a bit makes them lose what made them great.
@antimutant001: as for a scy fi show which I don't usually watch, doctor who is one of the best
@i_am_lightning: how and why?
@ironspiderchan45: They don't have eyelids.
@i_am_lightning: True though have you seen a angel blink?
@ironspiderchan45: The silents don't really need to eat, while the angels starve to death if they stay too much time whitout stealing time energy.
@i_am_lightning: You got me there.
Bump. that was an excellent episode. Specially when the kid tells doctor his name is davros
I was outside with the neighbour and then I just heard this:
At which point I turned into a hermit and ran inside my house locked the door, closed the curtains and turned the lights off.
(I know this is the Series 8 Intro, I couldn't find the series 9 one anywhere).
Tom Baker was quite violent but I dont think there was any face punching. Just Judo.
Ya, I remember a little of that generation, but I was wondering is someone like David Tennant ever just knocked someone out just to make them shut up?
@citizensentry: Another excellent episode. This felt like having watched an entire season, excellent plot.
The scenes of doctor/davros and doctor/clara dalek talking were brilliant. Missy is a superb villain companion? idk how to describe her..
Would have been a masterpiece if davros actually died, but sadly the writers seem hesitant in taking big steps like these..
Also, while the shades are cool, I'm a bit adamant about the screwdriver. It's too iconic.

I know right almost everything was superb, except from the nanosecond scene that just confused the hell out of me, I mean how can you give someone who is already a god among men and almost every other race in the universe nanosecond reaction speeds? But on the whole another incredible episode, I've started to love missy, I mean that scene where she and Clara were arguing above the hole and they starting questioning how deep it was and then missy just pushed Clara down the hole and said "20 feet" that just cracked me up. On the whole she is a brilliant villainess or Time Lady. I can't wait for next week. What did you think of the Season 9 episode 3 trailer? I for one cannot wait.
If you haven't seen it here it is:
Classic Who > NuWho
David Tennant > Everyone Else.
GG.
I love David Tennant as an actor but if I had to rank the Doctors....
I know John Hurt is technically The Doctor too but he just had one story and I feel he didn't get fleshed out well enough so I'm not counting him.
So....the doctor has nanosecond reflexes???? lol
Put spoilers over your comment.....not everyone has seen the episode yet.....
I was having a conversation about this earlier with a friend, what are your favourite underrated villains? And by underrated, I mean those which have only appeared in a few episodes and aren't immediately thought of when someone says "Doctor Who monsters".
So, I didn't think this week's episode would be that great but I was actually pleasantly surprised. Interesting concept and the cliff-hanger was genuinely exciting, one of the better episode of Capaldi's time on the show in my opinion.
@thedandyman: I agree with almost everything....except the cliff-hanger I hate cliff-hangers.
@citizensentry: Admittedly, I did get a bit angry when I found out I would have to wait a whole week to find out what happens. But I guess a good cliff-hanger is meant to make you angry like that.
Don't know if it was just me but Clara and the other crew members trying to lead the ghosts into the chamber reminded me of a Scooby Doo-style chase scene.
@thedandyman: The chase scene would have been much better if they did it how they did the chase scene in Love & Monsters xD
@citizensentry: XD Yes, I was thinking the same thing.
Fairly interesting episode, but a predictable ending/cliffhanger, looking forward to next weeks though :)
I didn't really enjoy this week's episode that much but I was never a big Zygon fan so I can't say seeing them again excited me.
Terrible episode was terrible.

@citizensentry: I wasn't a big fan of Harness' Kill the Moon either. The moral dilemma didn't seem like that big a dilemma to me, I don't know if it's because I'm a sociopath or something but I would've easily killed that creature to protect Earth, and if I remember correctly there was quite a lack of scientific accuracy which isn't something I normally mind but it was a bit off-putting in this instance.

I "liked" Kill The Moon, because it sort of reaches out to us and asks an unanswerable question "Would you kill an innocent baby to save a species". And in all honesty? I wouldn't kill the innocent baby.
Yes i know call me what you want, but i wouldn't do it.
Too depressed by the show's current state to watch the special. Was it any good?
Wait the specials out? i thought it aired tonight. scrambles to open iview.
