Do you think the Ultimate universe is superior?

So do you prefer Earth 1610? In which areas do you and don't you?

I prefer 616 in pretty much every aspect

I prefer some characters in their Ultimate version, but not the complete universe.

I like more the ultimate version of Captain America beacuse i don't have to stand trough his talks about patriotism and moral like 616 Steve do at any chance he have

Ultimates has some good things.

But I prefer 616

The current UU, though amazing, is not better than 616. However, the original UU could be argued to be better than 616 in my opinion.

IMO 1610's characters have more flavorful personalities. Even if they're all dicks...

While I want to enjoy Ultimates, I can't get past their crap personality's

I personally enjoy 616 universe more.

It used to be better, now not as much but it's still has some good stories

Ultimate spider-man 1-160 is worth every cent

I prefer 616, but there are something I much prefer the Ultimate Universe over 616. Although I do miss Peter Parker in the Ultimate universe..

@jonez120: hate 616 comics. they almost all suck, inconsistent, rehashed stories of teen kids who never really grew up after 60 years. **** 616 Comics.

Ultimate is where it is at. Ultimate Marvel, and Image comics.

At the 616 Universe never made Ultimatum or Ultimates 3.

Ultimantum was made by Loeb who also made Red hulk pwn Marvel Universe :P

I for one LOVED Ultimates 3. I loved that mini series. not sure for all the haters. The artwork was beautiful, and the fights were superb.

Red Hulk later became awesome, so Loeb is forgiven.

Though I like 616, at least in Ultimate

• Major changes are never retconned
• Characters stay dead
• Characters develop and grow older
• Characters actually are extremely flawed
• Storylines aren't determined by popularity or sales

It does go about some of its advantages the wrong way, but it still hits the mark most of the time.

I would want more than just a few comics set in the Ultimate universe in order to say something like that. Plus, at least another 10 or so years of history.

I like the fact that I am not wading through continuity from the 40's to the modern era. I like that the universe is generally more grounded. I like that death means something (even if quite a few of those deaths were unneeded and lame) I prefer a teen Pete Parker, a more moderately healing Wolverine, and certain story differences better.

That said I do like a number of aspects of the 616 universe.
