do you think storylines can last to long if so how many parts should be the maximum for a storyline

Depends on how interesting the storyline is. You can't put a exact number on it but yes they can.

Yeah, take a look at The Walking Dead.

Same boring, horrible story for the last 3 years/30+ issues.

If you can't resolve the arc in 12 issues (and that's really pushing it) I just don't care.

Some of them do last way too long.

As for what the maximum parts a story should have, I can't answer. It all depends on what story it is.

Forever evil and Age of Ultron comes to mind.

Not really. I mean, there is no set limit. Something can last 3 years and not get boring (look at Walking Dead) or six months and be old as cheese.
