Do you not read the "Batman" title?

As the most consistentely top-selling comic book currently on the market, I was just curious how many people actually buy the issue of "Batman" each month.

Is it a staple comic each reader should probably read? Or is it passable for the most part?

I have all of the New 52 Batman issues on my computer and I do say they are pretty good.

Well you can find out exactly how many people buy each month if you wanted to. Its consistently well written and a great book each and every issue. Its a consistent top ten seller for a reason. How many other books can say that? Definitely a staple.

I don't, because I've never been that big of a Batman fan.

I'm working on catching-up. I tried to branch out from Batman, so I decided not to read his 52 run. however, now I want to :( But a lot of people read it. It's the top selling comic every month unless something weird or big comes out as well.

I read every new 52 title except batman, batgirl, batwoman and catwoman.

Well I stopped reading it for a time but in the last few issues I am buying it again.

Haven't really read it consistently since the "Hush" story.

I fell behind in year one and I don't care enough to catch up.

I know @saint_wildcard needs his monthly fill of Batman, or else he gets cranky.

I read it. Prefer DC though with Buccalleto/Manapul. Still incredible art and I love the way they write Batman.

Endgame's first issue was just silly if you ask me (fanboy shield activate)

Technically I don't. I read the British editions, which are released about three months after the proper ones.

I wouldn't really call it a staple, but it's generally O.K.

I read them all up until the last issue. I enjoyed Zero Year but think I'll pass on End Game.

I do, and I think it's been a great run that'll go down in comics history. The only thing on my list I enjoy more is catching up on Fables via TPB.

Never been a Batman fan, barely read anything on him.

I was just thinking last week about how I'm probably one of the very few comic collectors (especially with the size of my collection) who doesn't own any Batman or Superman.

Rather wait for the TPB's don';t mind waiting the extra couple of months. In no hurry to read anything always something else available. But yes very good work.

I don't often read Batman. Last thing in read was Under the Red Hood a few weeks ago.

If I had the money and time, I would be caught up with it. I only keep up with one title, and catching up with it got pretty pricey, so I now refuse to keep up with current titles.

I read up to the end of "Death Of Family" then dropped the title.

In hind sight, I should have passed on End Game! lol. I read it consistently back in the 90's, played catch up over the last few years and have been a dedicated reader since 2011. The art is great and the stories are generally interesting...with the exception of End Game.

I've been reading in trades, it is pretty good though, not quite a staple though.

Snyder's Batman seems to be catered toward TPBs.

The single issues seem a little awkward.

That being said, I usually read them in TPBs while once and a while getting a single issue.

I read Bats and Robin from time to time

I have read most of them since the beginning of the New 52. Love them. But I will probably stop reading after Convergence. Has anyone seen the Post-Convergence Batman?

I'm still catching up with TPBs, on Death of the Family at the moment (I know, I'm pretty behind).

Can anyone comment on if Batman Eternal is good? Might pick up the collection,but I don't want to pick it up if the dialogue is dumbed down and the story isn't any good. It bothers the hell out of me when stories have bad dialogue it really breaks it for me....

Only Superman fans upset over Batman don't buy this book. Bat spit ftw. I've been reading Batman for years and I love this run, not as much as Morrisons though.

I haven't started using it until 2-3 month's ago. I'm never sloppy!

Never really been much of a fan of DC comics in general, and I have tried before but for whatever reason their brand just hasn't appealed to me. So no, I don't read Batman. All that being said I have enjoyed DC characters in movies/TV/animated series.

Nah, I could never get into Batman; he's way too silly.

I read Batman alot (so to me he is a staple), but whether his book is a staple is up to the individual comic reader.

Well, this is no longer true. I now own two Superman and six Batman tpb's.

Batman and Robin, his best story out of N52 in my opinion (I has a shaky start, but it does get better). The father son aspect of the comic is what sell it for me, and I like Damian's progression as a character in the book. Also its great to see Bruce as a Father.

Batman N52 (Snyder) The Court of Owls and Death of the Family arcs were good, The Zero Year arc took a little bit to long (to me it was boring), Now the End Game arc is ok.

Detective N52 is just ok nothing to ground breaking, but its ok. read it if you are really into Batman's detective side.
