Yes they are, but I actually don't think $200,000 is that bad. For one, $200k is considerably more money then I make. For another, yes the Avengers made a billion dollars, but they didn't know it would do that before hand. In fact, anyone that would've claimed it would do so before it's release likely would've been laughed at. Marvel took a huge risk with Avengers, the movie actually could've been a colossal flop.
Downey (who got closer to $50 million), apparently got so much because his contract (back from Iron Man 1) gave him a percentage of any movie he stared as Iron Man in. This is a rare but not unheard of contract for Hollywood actors, and one that again could've been disastrous for him had the franchise failed.
That said, now that Marvel has succeeding in Hollywood, and the Avengers is arguably the current biggest name franchise in the industry, they really should give considerable raises to the cast and crew that made them successful.
That apparently is what Downey is fighting for, or at least what he's claiming. That he will only return to Marvel, if all the other actors are given bigger pay checks. While I don't think anyone should get as good a deal as Downey has, they can certainly afford to reach deeper into their pockets now.
That's on the movie front. On the comic front it's clear that they currently care more about making a quick buck with gimmicky and sensationalized stories like AvX or Superior Spider-Man then they are with making quality comic books. This is greedy, but since people still buy them, can't really blame them.
