Which movie villain did you like better?

Haven't seen aou yet, but bane was terrible in my opinion. I couldn't even take him seriously because of how ridiculous his voice was. He also said the most, corniest, nonsensical, lines I've heard from any movie villain.
What? He was badass, voice included. He also had a plethora of good lines, i swear, none of them were bad.
Come at me, but Rises is my favorite of the Nolan trilogy.
When I saw Bane in TDKR scenes I was like oh s**t is about to go down. When I saw Ultron in AOU I was like Lool this dude is funny as hell, he always talks a lot of s**t then get beat.
This!
It seems to be a part of the Marvel formula that the villains dont really matter, the heroes all adventuring together and learning to work together and laughing along with the audience is what matters. And what I am getting at is this: None of the Marvel villains other than Loki are very good. And frankly, Ultron and the his Ultron drones were almost identical to the Chitauri, the climax of this movie really reflected the climax of the first one.
Bane was better, and IMO, he was better than almost all of the Marvel Studios villains.
@wrglfan2814: Just to clarify; If Tom Hardy as Bane was standing 6 inches from you decked out in his Bane gear and said, "I'm going to kill you", you wouldn't be intimidated?
@wrglfan2814: So I'm really missing your point here.
Bane is intimidating to you... But he's not?
@wrglfan2814: So?
I could say the same thing about Ultron. Of course an 8 foot robot would terrify me in reality. In the fictional world where he's getting man-handled by aliens, cyborgs, and super soldiers, not so much.
So again, I'm not seeing how this is any different in Ultron's case.
@wrglfan2814: So it's intimidating to you in real life, but all of a sudden in film it's not. That makes sense.
What if TDKR was a documentary? Would you still be saying this when Bane cracks somebody's neck between his palms?
Bane landslide Ultron can't even beat Cap or even kill that random doctor that he shot he was so inconsistent
@wrglfan2814: Your reason was because Bruce won against him in a fight, right? Did you miss the whole sequence when Bane made Bruce his little practice dummy?
Right. So a giant man with a confident presence, a robotic and unsettling voice, and rousing/manipulative speeches is not intimdating.
I think I understand you, now.
@_mongul: No, my reasoning was because he was nothing more than hired muscle for Talia. I don't care that he can beat Bruce in a fight. The writers could have Alfred curbstomp bruce in a fight, he still wouldn't be intimidating or interesting to me.
A giant man with the voice of an asthmatic old man, and a bunch of corny/try hard speeches, compared to batman isn't intimidating to me.
Good to know :-)
Exactly.
Bane, even though his death was very disappointing. He felt like a constant threat and was taken seriously. Ultron had a good buildup, but then it went downhill towards the end.
@eyedcyou: Iron Man would stomp both Batman and Bane at the same time.

Duh...

I liked both but Bane was a monster, the children in my theatre were terrified of him whenever he was onscreen.
Bane.I prefer villains to be taken seriously, and not see them as the first stand up robot comedian.
Bane easily.
"Do you feel in charge?" Pure awesome.
And this-
