Did Death genuinely have feelings for Thanos?

I know death is an abstract but did she (it) really have feelings for thanos in some way?

I always thought she was screwing with his head half the time.

Jim Starlin had Death actually admit to loving Thanos, at least to the extent she is capable of.

More reminiscence of an earlier story Starlin had wrote where Death explains Thanos that she loved him, in the sense she honored his soul beyond other, but that was the extent to which she was capable of loving him.

But the very fact that she is an abstract, a universal embodiment of idea, she can't actually have a consort in a normal sense and that she is bound not be a "typical" girlfriend material.

That's my 2 cents on the topic.
