Deathstroke vs Arrow?

My question is about the TV show Arrow. So apparently his arch-enemy on the show is Slade Wilson a.k.a Deathstroke. Why do Arrow's writers and fans believe that Green Arrow can take Deathstroke one on one in a fight? I mean, didn't Deathstroke nearly take out the Justice League (including Green Arrow) by himself?

Its called PIS. Most JLA'ers could solo Deathstroke.

Also, Green Arrow has given him a great 1v1 fight before in comics.

Also, its a TV show, they can do whatever they want.

It would be a pretty crap and short show if Deathstroke killed him. All down to creative license.

@justthatkid: Okay the general consensus on this site from the threads at least, is Deathstroke vs Batman leans towards DS. It's been said the only time Batman beat DS was when he had help from Nightwing and Robin. I don't see GA beating Batman in a battle.

As for most of the JLA one shotting, I can only see Flash,Green Lantern and Zatanna doing that.

They flatted out said Oliver couldn't take Slade that's why they made the cure. even Ollie said he couldn't beat Slade. And this is Arrow GA and Slade NOT comic GA and Slade

To be fair, Ollie had a lot of prep and Slade wanted to get arrested. Later on, he took on Black Canary and Ollie at the same time and embarrassed them.

@fallschirmjager: None of those characters fought DS in that specific issue. DS fought Flash, GL, Zatanna, Hawkman, Green Arrow and Black Canary.

Im a fan of Deathstroke but Im not stupid enough to say he can 1v1 the character's you listed. Especially WW who doesn't even have a weakness for him to exploit.

ARROW IS A JOKE. AND THE SHOW IS THE PUNCH LINE.

yeah they seem to have one big villain every season and a bunch of smaller guys, first season was Merlyn/dark archer, second was Deathstroke

and they even showed that in a straight fight ollie loses to deathstroke without deathstroke trying to kill
