Poll DCAU vs MCU (85 votes)
Which connected superhero universe did/do you enjoy more? I know it's kind of hard to compare live action to cartoon and movie to TV but which shared universe do you like more?

Not really fair to compare them since the. MCU isn't anywhere near done and the DCAU is finished
This and you're comparing Movies to shows. Its not a normal comparison.
Well, I enjoy DC far more than Marvel, so obviously I voted DCAU. But the comparison isn't really fair when it's two so widely different mediums.
I did like most of the Marvel universe movies that I have seen (though Avengers really wasn't very good IMO).
DCAU: Nothing can or will ever compare to Mark Hamill as The Joker, Jeff Combs as The Question, and Clancy Brown as Lex Luthor.
Oh, and Ron Perlman as Clayface and Deathstroke, of course. :)
DCAU has a much better track record.

Teen Titans wasn't part of the DCAU.

I was moreso referring to Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox. I think that still counts, right?
EDIT: Maybe it doesn't. Idk. It's a totally different animation style, haha.

Most of the DC animated movies aren't in the DCAU, it's a common misconception. The DCAU consists of:
1. Batman: TAS
2. Superman: TAS
3. The New Batman Adventures
4. Static Shock
5. The Zeta Project
6. Batman Beyond
7. Justice League
8. Justice League:Unlimited
The reason being, is that they are all in continuity with each other and often crossover/reference each other, unlike the DC animated movies.
DCAU still stomps
DCAU easily. I loved the MCU up to Endgame, and I like it now, but the DCAU did something incredible, and it was overshadowed because it was animated.
I don't really understand why people love the DCAU. I mostly watched BTAS but that is the highest rated anyways.
I liked the episode where Mad Hatter makes Bruce imagine he was living out his fantasy. I like Catwoman until they basically recon her character for no reason.
But I was literally watching through the top 10 BTAS episode list and I still didn't like them that much.
As for criticisms: I thought it was very weird to introduce Batgirl with her fantasying over kissing Batman. Eversince playing Arkham Asylum I have been pretty disappointed by every other portrayal of Killer Croc which includes this one.
