Poll DC vs Marvel when it comes to video games (57 votes)
IMO DC wins by a majority, however each side is arguable. Let the fanboy rage debate begin!!

Only played Marvel Vs Capcom which plays like Street Fighter so instant dislike from me, also Marvel ultimate Alliance was good but number 2 I hated. So Injustice, Arkham games take it for me.
In the past, Marvel used to pull out waaaaay better games.
But in more recent years, tables have turned and DC is now the company that has better video games.
Difficult choice. The PS2/3 and X-Box & 360 saw a lot of games, ranging from horrible (DCs attempt to do an 'Alliance' style game) to moderate (a ton of Spider-Man games) to awesome (Arkham.) I'm really an opponent of the 'free' to play games. (Compare what you got for $60 with Mechwarrior 4 vs MWO for an apples to apples comparison.) So I can't compare the current online offerings of the two. Marvel definitely has some good tables for Pinball FX. Overall they tend to even out, but Arkham has the lead right now.
Marvel is nowhere near DC when it comes to Games..There are some Spidey game but Arkham series owns it....plus DC online is awesome...
While the Arkham series is great & all, we can't forget about Marvel Ultimate Alliance 1 & 2. I had ALOT of fun playing those with friends. My brothers smashin with Hulk, and breaking bones with Daredevil, while i'm slicing & dicing with Deadpool, added up to some pretty amazing moments.
However, Arkham still delivers a overall superior game play. Its definitely designed for more of a story driven cinematic experience, whereas MUA 1 (less so 2,) was more of a adventurous comic-world button smasher.
Arkham and Injustice are by far my favorite superhero games.
Being fair I really like MvC and the ASM games, Ultimate Alliance, and the old Spidey games on PS, but they don't hold a candle to Arkham and Injustice.
I need to find a good Ninja Turtles game. Turtles in Time on the SNES was the sh*t.
DC pretty handily. Even without Arkham and Injustice, I thought Justice League Heroes, Batman Vengeance, Batman Begins, and some of the older Batman titles were great. Even Returns and Shadow of Apokolips were decent games for Superman.
Spider-Man 2, MAU, MvC, X-Men Legends, Ultimate Destruction, and the PS1 Spider-Man games were great, though.
The Arkham series stomps out any game Marvel has ever produced. Throw in Injustice too and its no contest. DC makes better games.
@zaied: don't forget ultimate spider man
The Arkham games single handily beat anything Marvel put out. But...that's like the only one. I did love the Marvel Ultimate Alliance games and wish they would make another one, though...
AAA titles DC easily. That being said Marvel really only needs to make that one big AAA title to be right back in it, which I hope happens. Not that I'm not enjoying Marvel Heroes I just want a story focused game that's really fleshed out and handled by a proper developer.
The Arkham games are better quality than any Marvel game and very replayable which is rare on it's own. For me, the only Marvel game that competes is The Punisher game which Tom Jane's voice over. I must have played and finished that a dozen times.
Neither. I don't think DC or Marvel has really created a game I've really enjoyed.
As far as I can tell, the best super hero game I can think of is Saints Row IV.
Marvel is really low on the game department, plus MvC3 is not really all that good...... I don't like getting combo to oblivion for a good five minutes.
Deadpool game is ok
Marvel heroes is ok
Spiderman 2 is the best in my opinion.
One of the best I've played. While it hasn't aged well on its own, it was excellent back in the day, and it's the basis for all subsequent free-roam, web-slinging Spider-man games.
@darthmummy: Yeah, I wouldn't mind if they made a remake of that game with added features.
