Who has your favorite storylines right now DC or Marvel?
I would personally say Marvel. Its just more interesting and I find myself really getting into the stories.

Marvel got me into comics, but the only big two book I am currently reading is by DC (it's Green Arrow).
I've enjoyed Marvel a lot more as a whole since Marvel Now! Still like tons of DC stuff though
Tie.
Although, the Thor:GoT writing is pretty awesome, Jason Aaron has been doing brilliantly on that book.
Up until the last couple years I've enjoyed DC over Marvel but lately I've been enjoying Marvel a lot more than DC. My pull list now consists a lot more of Marvel and a lot less of DC with Image and Valiant in between.
Marvel although I'm in deep with all the GL books , Aquaman and Talon ( til it ends in 2 issues smh). I'm buying a lot of the books Marvels putting out NOW ( get it) and my DC pull list has dwindled alot.
I prefer dc over marvel because marvel just seems a bit childish and silly where dc is more dark. also I have trouble finding marvel books in places other than comic shops so I tend to buy more dc comics. I also like dc events better like 52 or blackest night. dc books give you more bang for your buck because they are cheaper with more pages. I like dc better even though civil war (made by marvel) is my favourite book next to 52
DC, IMO.
Forever Evil is magnificent, especially Arkham War.
And I really enjoy Larfleeze's books. Kinda remind me of Deadpool's. A funnier comic.

I felt the same way until I actually started reading comics (about 3 years ago). I'd honesty say they're equally as dark. The only true tragedy in DC is Batman. I mean every comic has their dark parts but for the past few years Marvel has definitely been darker. But I guess you'd only really know that by reading it.
DC
Marvel's got big prices, and since I'm on a budget (5 books is basically all I can handle), it usually isn't worth it. At least DC's $3.99 books have very nice paper and cover quality, whereas Marvel's feels very cheap. And I just like the DC characters more. The only Marvel book I'm really all that interested in besides Daredevil (which I read in trade) is Amazing Spider-man, but that's biweekly, and as I said before, limited budget.
Yep, Marvel is definitely darker, take Spiderman...my 8 year old loves him but I honestly cannot buy a modern Spiderman comic for her as they are simply too violent/dark...
I find myself liking a lot more DC stuff these days, mainly because the comics involving some of my favourite Marvel characters (like Hulk, Iron Man) are just not up to it, the exception being the consistently enjoyable Savage Wolverine...

You don't read a lot of DC stories, do you? I'm not saying Marvel doesn't have some dark moments. I'm saying DC has been darker for longer, andremains darker.
They're still dark in the New 52. Especially Vertigo... have you read N52 Animal Man/Rotworld?
Been meaning to read the new Animal Man. I've heard really good things.
I've been reading precious few new story lines so am not really equipped to judge, but in years past it has always been Marvel. Were it not for Batman and Superman I doubt I would have any interest in the mainstream DC universe.
@jedixman: I liked Animal Man a lot. It's a Vertigo/Horror twist to Animal Man, and his crossovers with Swamp Thing are well set up IMO; they aren't just random "Oh hey look it's ST what a coincidence! Let's go fight the Grey!"
