I've been getting into comics over summer and am pretty situalted but could someone help me get into dc though the multiverse always scares me off

If you want to get into DC ask your local comic book store for a copy of "DC Entertainment Graphic Novels Essentials and Chronology 2014"

Its a free guidebook to pretty much every major graphic novel they've published, with the order to read them and suggestions on where to start with the major characters.

My comic store gave me a copy, the downside is you'll start small and before you know it have a huge shopping list made up.

@legend_sardine: Crisis on Infinite Earths and Flashpoint are really the only ones you need to figure out all ya need to know about the DC Multiverse.

At least the DC multiverse can be categorized. With Marvel all the crazy sh*t is happening on the same Earth. I honestly want to thank Arcade for cutting off some of the dead weight.

Why? Marvel has a bigger Multiverse, and probably harder to keep track of.
