Alright so I wanted to know how DC would handle Marvel's Civil War storyline?
1)Who would be Pro-Registration and who would be Anti-Registration?
2) who would be the leaders of their respective teams?
3) which side would ultimately win?

could even go green arrow (pro) vs batman. and keep aliens out of it.
I don´t think that Green arrow would ever be pro registration.
Superman vs Batman (duh)
@justthatkid: I actually like that Idea. Let's say a catastrophic battle with Darkseid see a win for the Justice League but has left a catastrophic amount of damage. World leaders fearing more damage, enact a plan to control super humans and their powers.
Superman agrees, seeing the potential destruction involved and backs the idea. While Batman see the danger in for each individual super.
I see the main draft as;
Pro: Superman, Wonder Woman,Green Lantern, Flash, Cyborg
VS
Anti: Batman, Shazam, Aquaman, Green Arrow and Hawkgirl
@black_arrow: now im not a big green arrow reader but im positive he has come come out with his identity a couple times (futurens end being one of them). now for story sake there would have to be a pushing point for him to want everyone to come out
This thread pops up every 4 months or so haha.
I don't see any notable DC heroes being pro registration. Especially not Superman as many are suggesting. Earth's greatest hero has likely made a few enemies here and there. Clark isn't stupid.
That said, I could see Lex leading the registration side with an end game in mind.
The only person I could see being for registration is lex luthor and he's not even a hero. I can't see anyone else being for it.
1)Who would be Pro-Registration and who would be Anti-Registration?- most likeley the powerhouses are pro and the street level are against
2) who would be the leaders of their respective teams?- supes for pro and bats for anti
3) which side would ultimately win? its kinda playing out in the injustice comics just to a darker and more personal agenda
They already did it, Superman/Batman: Public Enemies.
Lex Luthor had heroes register with him, Bats and Supes refused, so they (and their families) fought heroes like Captain Atom, Hawkman and Shazam.

Because he doesn´t mind having a secret identity because he wants to have the people closer to him and because he really doesn´t have anyone to protect (close relative). Green arrow always stood for freedom and equality and was always against goverment prosecution. And he doesn´t mind breaking a few laws to make things right. It would be out of character to do that.
@godzilla44: Not this
The Civil War pit two teams of heroes (with the exception of the thunderbolts) against eachother who at their core, were still heroes. Public enemies was two heroes vs a lying politician.
@matthewparker: no? Superman became a tyrant.
Why does everyone think Supes would be pro? because of injustice and the Jl Cartoon? Supes would most likely stay out of the war. Batman would lead the Anti Side and WW could lead the Pro.
@tex_the_slayer: I think that it's cause of TDKR, Superman was pretty much in the president's pocket.
I think many people will agree that Frank Millers Superman was really not the ideal Superman. Many Stories have shown Superman completely against the government. If there was a DC Civil war and the two leaders were Superman and Batman I doubt they would be fighting over the same thing Cap and Tony were fighting over. On the subject of secret identities Clark and Bruce would stand together. if they were fighting over anything it would be something like how to deal with Meta Humans. Bruce wanting to keep them in check and if need be lock them up even if he didn't want too. Clark however would want them to be able to have a chance at a normal life and not make them want a to wage war.
@tex_the_slayer: I agree with you, if Supes and Bats were to go to war, it would not be about secret identities. We get something like it in Injustice, but Supes is waaay out of character.
@lorddracula: yeah well I didn't mean similar in motives, and plot. I just meant injustice is a war between superheroes that used to be allies, so like a civil war.

1. Pro - people without secret identities. Anti - People with secret identities
2. Batman and Superman more than likely
3. Same as Marvel, No one.
Meh....I reject idea of DC Civil War. Personally I'm tired of ideas heroes vs heroes. This is no 1990's people. Superhero comics nowadays is more towards Silver Age Heroism
There aren't many DC heroes who don't have a secret identity. Who'd join the pro side? Aquaman? I doubt land dweller politics would effect him enough to go against Superman, Batman, Green Lantern, and Flash.
DC heroes aren't two-faced jerks.
No real hero in the DCU would ever go pro-registration. None of the JL would, at least, neither would the Teen Titans or Justice Society. Those three teams rejecting it alone would be enough to squash any kind of public opinion influence on such a bill being passed.
@boynerdgeek: I love the Idea! Would you rather see Superman fight Lex Luthor for the 103rd time or have a rich storyline that ultimately has you, the reader, struggling to decide which team you'd support?
Correct. "Welcome to the 'Vine, @miamishaman!";)
That wouldn´t happen that well on DC.
There isnt almost no with public identity on DC exept Wonder Woman, Cyborg (i think), Animal Man, Aquaman, Jonh Stewart, Guy Gardner and Booster Gold (in some way). None of them would gain anything with that in normal conditions.
Superman vs Batman ? I get but Superman want his identity to be a secret as well.

right on, thanks for clearing that up
