Lobo: Cannot die. ergo he cannot become a zombie.
Poison Ivy: Could the zombie plague survive Ivy's blood?
Solomon Grundy: Catches plague, dies and comes back plague free.
Clayface: Not sure if he has DNA.
Danny the street: Ditto
Doomsday: He would die and come back with a resistance.
Swamp-thing: I assume since Man-Thing was immune.
Captain Atom: because he's living energy.
The Spectre:
Deadman: He's already dead.
Metamorpho:
Metal Men:
Eclipso:
Gentleman Ghost: He's a ghost.
Mogo: Same reasons as Danny the street.
Chemo:
Frankenstein:

Mr Freeze: (Maybe) Not sure if zombie plague could survive the freezing temperature.

Harley Quinn: (Maybe) Since Harley is immune to Ivy's poison blood then it stands to reason (if) Ivy is immune then Harley probably would be too.

Ah, did not know that. That would probably go for the whole super family.

@wildvine: Superman would not be able to become a zombie due to his invurnability and immune system but superboy might be able to become one due to his human half

@wildvine: I think your choices are good apart from Poison Ivy who I am not to sure about.

#8 Posted by IfDCRuledTheWorld (733 posts) - - Show Bio

Captain Atom could. He's living energy right?

Plastic Man perhaps. He's immune to physical attacks too right?

#9 Posted by TheCannon (20063 posts) - - Show Bio

Captain Atom.

Oh, another i wanted to add. The Spectre. Cause he has a human host.

The Spectre, Deadman, Metamorpho, the Metal Men, Blue Devil, Robotman

Also, since the Flash has a faster metabolism, how would the zombie plague affect him? Would he decompose faster?

I agree with all but Blue Devil. If a god like Thor could catch it, then a devil probably could too.

Spawn

Malebolgia

Raven

Galactus and any of his heralds and anyone near his level

Any cyborg character (maybe)

Any robotic character

#18 Edited by wildvine (10432 posts) - - Show Bio

Spawn: Not a DC character.
Malebolgia: Ditto.
Raven: Explain please.
Galactus: Not DC.
Cyborgs are susceptible to zombie plague.
We're not counting robots, Sorry.

That I don't get. If the virus comes from bite-inflicted wounds, how does it affect those with healing pwers and invulnerability? Or Galactus?

not really sure...I don't know if it was ever explained...I read the first series and that was pretty much it

Batman. Why because he's Batman that's why.

If Harley Quinn has her enhancements from Ivy she could survive depending on the nature of the Virus, but it would be a stretch. It would be fun to see her as the only survivor in a Joker base outbreak.

Harley Quinn vs 100 clown zombies and a zombified Joker.

The batman fanboyism is inane. With that said Eclispo for the same reason as The Spectre. Also Blue Devil , Blaze , Satanus , Gentleman Ghost and Ertigan.

Gentleman because he's well a ghost and the rest because they're demons.

#37 Posted by TheCrowbar (4397 posts) - - Show Bio

No Batman is not immune. In fact Batman would get infected so he could have ANOTHER Batman book, coming next year: Batzombie! Written By Scott Synder(Because really this man should never stop writing) and Jim Lee(Because really this man should never stop drawing)

Deadman would not be affected by the zombie plague.

Batman being immune is dumb. He has been turned into a Vampire before. What makes you think he wouldn't turn into a zombie?

Anyways :

Deadman (already dead; also intangile IIRC)

Gentlemen Ghost (intangible)

Martian Manhunter (intangible)

Flash (to fast for any zombies and can reverse time)

Not at all. Christianity has always been shown as more powerful then Norse mythology. Compare Lucifer Morningstar to Wonder Woman or Hercules.

Hell , Look at Yawheh vs Zeus or Odin. I'm not a christian but it's been true for decades in both DC and Marvel.

Superman (too tough), Swamp Thing (plant), Solomon Grundy & Deadman (already dead), Cyborg (though he may turn into Marvel's Deathlock), Deathstroke (healing factor)

@TheCannon: Did not see the DC requirement. I thought Galactus was killed and eaten and Silver Surfer had his bitten off by Hulk.

Frankenstein would be immune to seeing how when he fought the Rot they said he was 100% rot free and could not be corrupted. What about Andrew from I, vampire can there be vampire zombies? Also, what about Shade the changing man, isn't he like a living shadow or something, I'm not sure? Mr. Freeze, seeing how he is like living cryostasis, would the zombie virus not spread if it is frozen?

I actually forgot Frankenstein. This is the virus from marvel zombies so yeah, vampires can catch it. I've asked around about Freeze but no one seems to know.
