Something seems off with Wonder Woman's appearance. I'll have to get use to Flash's look. And Green Lantern looks amazing! It reminds me of Spectre.
DC Announces JUISTICE LEAGUE 3000
@lamenoire: Except we do know what the concept is. It's the Justice League........... in the year 3000!!! Snore. Been there done that.
I like the designs, Superman aside. He looks like he loves in New Jersey.
I like the Batman Beyond suit with a cape (although I hate the pattern). The TDKR-ish symbol is nice too.
Wonder Woman's costume looks a lot classier. I like the pants and coattails. And the flail thing at least looks cool. The neck connector looks wrong though.
The Flash looks great all around, although I need to question how the scarf stays up during super speed.
GL looks cool, although he looks a bit too dark to be a GL.
Hopefully, we get Wally West and Donna Troy back. Maybe this Batman is an alternate version of Terry McGinnis or a member of the Grayson family. GL? Eh, I don't care. They can do anything. It'll be interesting to see what they do.
I'm interested in where this could go, so I'll definitely check it out. The fact hat it's not connected to the Legion is nice, since that team's series was incredibly hard to get into, and I've heard it's pretty much the same with the team overall. I'm being cautiously optimistic.
- Superman's costume is pure yuck. The hair and lack of distinctive features don't do it any favours.
- There are only so many times one can do the armoured Batman look before it becomes stale like this one does.
- Wonder Woman's looks OK but a golden bola whip rather than a golden lasso? I'm a sucker for traditional looks over new edgy garments.
- Flash's costume reminds me of Sirocco's look.
- Green Lantern's is the best IMO
I can't believe how damned critical some of you are. All I keep reading is how it's either too far removed or not removed enough from things done in the past. Yeah, Batman has had red in his costume ala beyond, what do you want, a teal and magenta batman? Then you'd be complaining about how Batman should always have a black costume. I'm not going to read this right away or anything, but hell I'll give it a chance when I get around to it, it's something different and that's always interesting. Good for you DC.
@benblanks86: It's not different though
Ugh. How about this: In the 30th century the team wouldn't have any of the originals on it at all because they're all dead, retired, and replaced by new heroes?
How about an original group of new heroes that honors the team name?
Superman looks... just.. eh. Not liking his hair at all. Batman's awesome. Just, his Bat-symbol seems to big. Flash isn't bad. Wonder Woman looks like one of the Female Furies, and Green Lantern is just perfect. I like the Spectre look he has going on.
So.. is this like, the return of Wally West and Donna Troy or what?
Good Lord that Green Lantern looks awesome!
EDIT:
Plus WallyWestWallyWestWallyWestWallyWestWallyWestWallyWest! Please be Wally!
Superman's shield needs some tweaking, Batman needs to look less 90s. Besides that I actually like the designs a lot. GL and Flash being my favorite. GL just has the whole mystic look going on. Flash (Wally) looks like a man on the run lost in time.

My exact thoughts
My theory of who they are-
Batman - Terry McGinnis
Superman - Superman's son (from Suberboy)
Wonder Woman -Donna troy
The Flash - wally west
Green Lantern - the spectre
I don't like the art design but since it is J.M. DeMatteis writing it I'm pretty interested.
umm, no. no. no. NO!
Those character designs are awful. And did no one learn anything from Marvel 2099?
There are so many better places to put the Justice Leauge vis-a-vis alternate universes, new characters on other planets, etc. But, this is basically one of the most unoriginal ideas in comics; "lets take the same characters and put them IN THE FUTURE!!!"
I think people learn that it overall was pretty awesome.

I didn't realize till after I posted that DeMatteis is writing it. I really liked his work on JLI. And the book may be good, but the basic premise is boring and unoriginal. I'll admit if DeMetteis takes a less serious approach more satrical approach like he did in JLI, this book may be saved. Otherwise I don't care for another serious JL book where the only difference is that it's set in the future.
I just wonder why the Justice League has to consist of these heroes in the year 3000. A whole new generation of heroes that have nothing to do with the original would be cool.
My ideal "Justice League: Beyond" team (3013 A.D.)
A descendant of Wonder Woman & Superman as "Superwoman"
The son of Brainiac 5 & Supergirl as "Superboy"
Damian Wayne as "The Batman"
Terry McGinnis as "Robin"
Carrie Kelley as "Batgirl"
A homosexual male descendant of Aquaman & Mera as the "Green Lantern of Sector 2814"
XS (yes, the legionairre) as "The Flash"
A White Martian, who has evolved beyond his primal instincts and been trained under J'onn J'onzz, as the current "Martian Manhunter"
@thetomorrowknight2013: Damian Wayne, Terry, and Carrie would be dead by the year 3013
This would work so well on Earth 2,than on earth 1.
Superman would be either the real superman back,or a clone of the dead superman, which turns out to be kon with TTK
Fury or Donna Troy
Wally west
Dick or Damian, neither have been shown yet, they could be from the year 3000 easily
This look for a GL ONLY could work as a earth powered GL,like Alan Scott is.alan is the earth 2 version of swamp thing,so this look would work there.
@redlantern23: 2 words. Lazarus Pits.
If they put all new characters as Justice League then I would have believed in this storyline. But I guess DC couldn't let go of writing Superman/Batman.... Shame! Lost Potential!
@phaedrusgr: I agree about batmans suit it looks badass
I would have to disagree entirely. To me Batman's suit looks like a cross between the Wayne and McGinnis suit, which is something that I would have to comment on as being spectacular. Besides that, WW looks ... well the same and that's the bet Lantern design I personally have ever seen.
I like all of these designs! Superman's hair is a little cheesy, but beyond that these look good in my opinion. A little cheese never hurt anybody. :)
