DBGT's SSJ4 Gogeta could potentially be a multiverse buster?

Saiyan in Great Ape form would increase their power ten-fold. Two Super Saiyan 4’s make up SSJ4 Gogeta. If Gogeta achieved Great Ape form it means SSJ4 Gogeta’s power would be amplified by 20 times.

Now if Great Ape SSJ4 Gogeta used the Super Kaio-ken all of that power would be doubled. Speculatively, I admit, this might create a being of incredibly massive power, bordering on multiversal destructive power.

Why I argue this is because SSJ4 Gogeta casually manhandled a universe buster in Dragonball GT.

Nope. OS isn't a universe buster. The negative energy was stated to chain from planet to planet and slowly destroy all life in The universe. That's universal life wiper. Not buster

Below is a screenshot of what Omega Shenron can achieve.

For those who watched DB GT, you know what happens... SSJ4 Gogeta to the rescue by casually kicking around Omega Shenron for a while before Goku & Vegeta's combined power runs out and they split up again.

You realize shenron then took all the negative energy that would destroy the cosmos and put it in a condensed ball and threw it at him right?

And? It still can't destroy a universe. It was explicated stated the energy would corrupt planet to planet and then 'destroy' the universe. That's not busting, that's wiping.

There's a lot more things than planets in the universe and busting them 1 by 1 by 1 isn't a universe buster.

And its still going off a STATEMENT.

Furthermore, this whole idea of using " math" to making someone a buster is beyond old. You simply can't apply that to cosmic destruction. Just because person A can bust a planet and got whopped by person B, doesn't make person B a solar system buster. It doesn't even necessarily make them multi planet. If it takes 10 power to bust a planet, it takes 20 to bust two but a guy with 19 power is still going to destroy the guy with 10. But 19 is still less then 20.

Cosmic objects simply have too much mass to use that type of logic. There's billions/trillions of galaxies in the universe (estimated). Billions/trillions of solar systems in each galaxy and so on and so forth.

And we're going to anoint people "buster" levels based on statements and math? Come on. Akira Toriyama can't even be trusted to make a reliable statement half the time. He's admitted he's contradicted his own canon because he simply forget things he had said previously.

And that's not even taking into how bad GT was written. These beings are supposedly universal level but then get cut by glass and injured by buildings. Okay.

End of the day the best feats with have from DB is Beerus nuking a star and a statement that he could destroy a solar system. And aside from Whis, he's the strongest being we have from them. I don't understand why that isn't enough for most DB fans. Why do we have to anoint them higher than what they've actually done?

@fallschirmjager: Who's even used math lol.

It's just common sense. Elder nigh omniscient gods said he could destroy a universe with his negative power, he took all his negative power and put it into an attack, and it was overpowered.

I would say around or above universal (if that makes sense) if DBS was never created. Gotenks at SS3 ripped a hole through a dimension, so incredible feats like that aren't impossible.

Since DBS came out, people have been saying he's weaker than Beerus. So by this, I would only say universal. Maybe if Beerus destroys multple dimensions in DBS, then I would say Gogeta would follow up, but as of now and without DBGT, he should be universal.

And? It still can't destroy a universe. It was explicated stated the energy would corrupt planet to planet and then 'destroy' the universe. That's not busting, that's wiping.

Yet him stuffing all his negative energy into a ball doesn't mean he wouldn't destroy the universe ? nor does it happen since Mr Popo said in the past the shadow dragon destroyed all the cosmos.

There's a lot more things than planets in the universe and busting them 1 by 1 by 1 isn't a universe buster.

And its still going off a STATEMENT.

Who cares lol

Furthermore, this whole idea of using " math" to making someone a buster is beyond old. You simply can't apply that to cosmic destruction. Just because person A can bust a planet and got whopped by person B, doesn't make person B a solar system buster. It doesn't even necessarily make them multi planet. And what does this got to do with this scene again ?

Cosmic objects simply have too much mass to use that type of logic. There's billions/trillions of galaxies in the universe (estimated). Billions/trillions of solar systems in each galaxy and so on and so forth.

So is DBZ logic, when they made City to moon level from King Piccolo to BOZ Piccolo, you're point ?

And we're going to anoint people "buster" levels based on statements and math? Come on. Akira Toriyama can't even be trusted to make a reliable statement half the time. He's admitted he's contradicted his own canon because he simply forget things he had said previously.

He never admitted that actually. Statements are fine as long as it doesn't have contradictions after and yes, when a guy get's interview tons of times years after, expect something to happen.

And that's not even taking into how bad GT was written. These beings are supposedly universal level but then get cut by glass and injured by buildings. Okay.

And Surfer get's beaten by yeteis, Thanos and the cops, Thanos get's own by small city punches, Eternity got angry and only destroyed a planet, Surfer owned by human, Superman pre crisis owned by karate kid and electric fence, i can go on forever bro, don't use inconsistencies, every series has them.

End of the day the best feats with have from DB is Beerus nuking a star and a statement that he could destroy a solar system. And aside from Whis, he's the strongest being we have from them. I don't understand why that isn't enough for most DB fans. Why do we have to anoint them higher than what they've actually done?

Why does it need to be enough ? statements are fine, you just want to downplay DBZ because they rely on statements a lot. Statements are used for a reason.

I might as well deal with this

who said it was meant to be bait? Its more of a bump.

I love mentioning DBZ-related characters only for the fact that they cause extreme profuse whining when it comes to battles discussion, a topic which need not be taken seriously but apparently everyone loves to do otherwise.

if you want to bump a thread, you post "bump". if you want to bait someone, you say "X solos X characters/universe". fairly simple internet 101.

Well. The word "bump" gets boring after a while. Why not just spice things up a bit and have better chance of sparking off a discussion?

If you define bait loosely, I guess.

I thought of bait as an act of sparking off flame wars.

To be honest they said the same "he can destroy the universe" with Kid Buu, who could only do so by destroying areas of said universe one by one. Then again I don't recall the direct quote, so maybe they implied one-shotting universes.

@amendment50: yeah, there's a reason why DBZ and DBGT are banned in battles discussion when it involves comic-book characters... The likes of Superman are so weak compared to DBZ/GT characters that the Superman fanboys will rage and break forum rules whenever truth about the power level of DBZ in general are revealed.

Go to one of the first few posts on this thread, as quoted above. Omega Shenron specifically says he will destroy the entire universe with his power (Somehow my quote is unable to reproduce the image).
