I want to start collecting Dark horse but don't know where to start. What would be the best of Dark Horse and why?

Hellboy - Seed of Destruction

B.P.R.D. - Hollow Earth and Other Stories

The Goon - A little different with the Goon. He had two early series so his Dark Horse comics start on the 3rd Volume (which is numbered #2 "My Murderous Childhood and Other Grevious Yarns"). The first two volumes are a little rougher with the art and stories but I still enjoyed them and it's nice to see how the comic started.

With Star Wars it really depends on what you like or want to read about from the series. Two big series are Knights of the Old Republic (before the movies) and Star Wars Legacy (after the movies in the future). I love the Fetts so I personally really like the Blood Ties and Boba Fett is Dead ones.

BUM

Captain Midnight is the only Dark Horse I read. It would be easy to catch up. So far only 2 issues have come out. Issues # 0 and # 1. I read # 0 and really liked it. I'm going to pick up # 1 (which came out July 31) for sure.

Why don't you read The Goon.It's a great and funny read.
