I didn't watch this film when it came out in 2003, because I didn't care for DD back then and didn't know bad-a** he was until I read his comics.

So, I'm thinking of watching it now but from what I hear on the web it's horrible. Is that true? Or is it actually worth seeing??

I liked it, just don't compare it to the hero films there making today, and there will be a scene or 2 you think is lame, but over all it was fun and worth a watch if you are a fan of the character.

Get the Directors cut. So much better. Much more grim.

It's not a good movie at all and I've always heard the director's cut version was better but when I finally got a hold of it, it was still essentially the same garbage movie. Mostly everything I hated about it was in both versions. It does Daredevil no justice and the casting is ALMOST as bad as the writing. Foggy Nelson is probably the only character I liked in the film which is odd because I don't really care for him otherwise.

There are worse ways you could spend 2 hours. You could watch the 2003 Hulk for instance.

Get the Director's Cut or don't get the movie at all.

I actually liked it, there are PLENTY or worse Marvel movies out there.
