I really wanted a comic book spinner rack for my comic book/gaming room but when I looked into buying one I discovered that they can be quite expensive. Not to be thwarted I decided to make my own.

I had some metal wire from previous art projects. I think it is concrete molding wire but I use it for wire sculpture.

I used the base from an old computer chair.

I twisted two pieces of wire together to stiffen it a bit and used a jig to shape the pockets.

I built a frame out of wood.

I decided where my rack was a custom that I would make it half comic books and half video games and Blu-rays.

I know it's not an authentic, retro-style, spinner rack, but I think it captures the aesthetic I was after and I'm very happy with it. Tell me what you guys think.

I'm bumping this. Really? No feedback? I thought this would be the spot to get some feed back from other collectors.
