I can't believe how nobody talk about this on Comicvine but that crane scene on Amazing Spider-Man is so freaking hillarious. Why we don't make a movie about Crane Dad and co-workers instead? They got fully mobilized and briefed in a situation in like a minute to help Peter swing between platforms while his leg is injured. Screw the National Guard, SHIELD, the Avengers, the construction workers are Spidey's best allies of all!!

When I seen this in the cinema, my son asked me "is that Spider mans dad?". The two actors do look very similar...

@CaioTrubat: lmao I'm glad you made this thread, the scene was so out of place and really awkward when I watched this in the cinema.

I didn't have a problem with it, but I do have to admit it was kinda odd...

I think its kind of depressing that construction workers can react to a threat quicker than S.H.I.E.L.D. Crane dad should be the next Nick Fury at least he'd get stuff done quickly!

Crane Dad is the newest greatest Spider-Man character ever!

It was ok until Spider-Man jumped and fell out of the building (Wich led to Crane Dad saving him).

That just made him look incompetent and was completely unecessary.
