I know thor would crush wolverine im just saying would it be possible for his claws to cut thors head off and kill him?
Could wolverine cut Thors head off?
No, because Wolverine would be dead within .03 seconds of making a killing move toward Thor.
Especially if I was writing said sequence.
@innervenom123: no i know that thor could just blink and wolverine would be dead but im saying is it physically possible for wolverines claws to go through thor?

It doesn't matter.
This will not happen.
He will be dead.
It is the one hypothetical that is TOO hypothetical.
@innervenom123: ok thor can not move for some reason then could wolverine cut his head off?

You don't seem to understand exactly how not-happening this hypothetical is.
@innervenom123: For god sake im saying is it possible im not saying will it happen??!!
@innervenom123: For god sake im saying is it possible im not saying will it happen??!!
What I'm saying is that it will not happen even if it is possible. I am saying this entire notion is silly.
And no, probably.
@innervenom123: And apparently you don't seem to understand his question.
I don't know if his adamantium claws can penetrate Thor's durability. Thor is basically invulnerable. But, I would think it's may be possible. Wolverine can kind of cut the Hulk, right? Hulk and Thor seem pretty close in their durability. It might be like like a butter knife cutting a steak. It it can happen, its just going to take awhile.
@innervenom123: And apparently you don't seem to understand his question.
I said repeatedly that I understand the question.
I was just saying NO to the very idea.
If the scenario could happen where Wolverine could hit and not miss, then yes I think Wolverine should be able to take his head off.
Its possible for Aunt May to cut Galactus head off with a feather - granted Living Tribunal made the feather to be really sharp and unbreakable and huge and probably super advanced and granted Aunt May would have to undergo some strength and size transformation to actually apply enough pressure on the feather against Galactus. So you know, sure in that sense Wolverine could, but the most consistent problem these fictional characters should come across is Wolverine's relative lack of strength and ability to apply pressure. Could's a pretty dangerous word to use especially when talking about fiction. Its like the word possible. Then again should is too subjective and would is too easy to answer. Probable. Is it probable Wolverine can cut Thor's head off - probably no in the mainstream reality but in alternative realities no one cares so probably.

lol, no. he does not posses the strength.
@krunkeela: Yes because the films are canon and a reliable source of info on a character.

I believe Thor's skin is tougher than Hulk but Hulk possesses far greater healing power. Wolverine maybe able to give him a few cuts but he won't be able to decapitate him.
I know daken isn't wolverine but remember what happened to him during the siege when he tired to go after thor? Ended up beig crispy BBQ
@karrob which comic was that?
Wolverine has drawn blood from Thor before and left him injured to a smaller degree. I assume if he made direct contact, he could possibly dismember Thor.
I'm pretty sure that it was the "Fall of the Hulk's" storyline where Thor n Logan fought briefly ! Thor was trying to reason with Logan and Logan sliced an stabbed him once ! Again I'm iffy on the fight details !
@innervenom123: Haha, I'm with you.
Just...NO.
Yeah he actually ends up making him bleed in this comic. He lands probably four succesful stabs which had made him bleed one shown was at the lower right hip area in the comic.
He can cut through skin and organs but idk about the bone he would probably have trouble
@evilvegeta74: I think he just wants to know if it is possible and can andamantuim injure the thunder god
I guess the only way we can figure this out is if we get Bendis to write another Avengers book!!!!!!!
I have no doubt adamantium could cut Thor's head off but Wolverine would need a massive strength increase to break through asgaurdian bone.
Although Thor is very durable, he's not indestructible. I believe Wolverine is capable of cutting off Thor's head. I just think it would very unlikely for Wolverine to get the opportunity to do it. However, one of Thor's weak areas is his neck.
Cap vs Thor: Here Cap is clearly targeting Thor's neck area b/c he believes that's going to put Thor down.
Here's another one where Cap targets Thor's neck area.
Wolverine is able to cut through Thor's armor and skin.
In a fight, Thor would win 8 out of 10 times against Wolverine but that doesn't mean Wolverine can't damage or bring down Thor by cutting off his head.
Wolverine doesnt have the strength backing the claws to cut thors head off. He could graze him and make a minor wound but thats about it
