Could Presence=Jesus? - Gen. Discussion

Well Presence is the dc version of judeo christian god and he himself stated that he was created by external forces. Does that mean the external forces could be the real God and the presence is Jesus. What do you guys think?

Pretty sure the external forces was a reference to the writers, and in any case there was a side note about Jesus' death in the third volume of Spectre so he's not the Presence.

If the Presence was ACTUALLY the DC version christian god, he would be the most powerful thing in DC. Literally TOAA would bow to him, alpha and omega.

But he's not, since they're is someone more powerful then him

And Presence =/= Jesus

Jesus should be above the Presence because he is present in both Marvel and DC.

The mythology of the DC universe and the Bible are very different from each other. The Presence was not written to be a theological reflection of the Bible. We must also remember that the universe in the Bible is very different from the DC universe. The Biblical universe is much smaller in scale and only consist of one planet, where as the DC universe contains many planets and dimensions. Another relevant point is that in the DC universe there are beings far below the Presences' power level that greatly exceed Jesus' power based on feats.

@Almighty_Darkseid: It would proably be better to say that The Presence was inspired by yahweh, than say that he is yahweh. It's like the difference between Thor from Norse mythology and Thor 616.
