Could a Samurai Jack movie work?

One of my favorite Toonami shows growing up was easily Samurai Jack. The soundtrack, the tone, the wide variety of characters, a unique villain and a badass protagonist all contributed to a show unlike anything I had seen before. I think it could be PG-13 since there is a lot of violence, but not much blood since Samurai Jack is usually slicing through robots and Aku (who isn’t made of flesh). The other question would be whether or not to keep it animated of make it live action. Personally, I think it would attract a larger audience if it was live action and had a Django-like tone and feel to it (the show had spaghetti western qualities to it), but with a futuristic twist. I would worry about how Aku would look in CGI, especially if the movie was on a modest budget, but if the moviemakers got the tone right, wrote a decent storyline and had quality sword fighting scenes I think the movie could provide a unique cinematic experience.

No, he'd be a teenager in high school.

Without a sword.

He will also ride one of those ninja motorcycles.

He will also be played by Tom Cruise (I wish) Keanu Reeves in a purple ninja costume.

His sandals will also be beach sandals and he'll have a surfer boy accent.

It will also be produced by Disney and and Aku will be played by Nic Cage.

If they stay true to the animated series it could work.

And it will be directed by M Night Shyamalan

Gendy Tarkovzky already wrote the ending of samurai Jack as a movie (well 3 part episode) just give him a billion dollars and the pixar studios to make it happen.
