Ones who aren't stereotypical martial artists. Ones who have cool powers. Ones who aren't lame.
Cool Asian superheroes?
Yeah Kenji is pretty cool. I like him, Laurie, and Idie, the other lights not so much.
The Xorn thing just made my head hurt.

More X-Men characters - Jubilee, Sunfire, and Daken:
Cool characters with cool powers (though Daken is more of a villanous antihero than a superhero, though)
Behold!
My personal favorite (other than Cass Cain who I guess counts as a martial artist character) would be Most Excellent Superbat.
Also, I should mention that Linda Park-West is an important character to me, but of course she's not a superhero herself.

No, no! It is "most excellent!"
It looks like the Crazy Quilt on crack.
Thanks, everyone. I should probably look up Kenji as he and Cho seem cool (is Amadeus a "superhero?"). Also, I was going through that list and it said Karate Kid is Japanese. He doesn't look Japanese, IMO. Same with some other characters.
By the way, why are half-White characters on the Asian list? Daken comes to mind.

Yeah, Amadeus is a superhero. His superhero name is "Mastermind Excello."

Maybe some Japanese people look that way in the future?

Why not? What's wrong with identifying with your heritage even if you have more than one ethnicity in your background? Also, that list seems to be going for being as inclusive as possible, even going so far as to throw in characters like Naruto despite the blonde hair and blue eyes.
I guess what I am trying to say is, why not have an Asian with a superstrength powerset, for example? It doesn't have to be that powerful. Just something different. It seems from my experience that you'll probably never see a gun-toting Asian who was an anti-hero and had a healing factor and a cool costume and codename. I mean it's no big deal cause I like the characters I like but I feel it's slim pickings.

Agent X is basically the Asian Deadpool. Had a solo title for a while written by Gail Simone.
@fodigg: Thanks, that is awesome. That's what I'm talking about. If only other characters could branch out...
Karate Kid is Asian? I never thought he was. Thanks, everyone. I should probably look up Kenji as he and Cho seem cool (is Amadeus a "superhero?"). Also, I was going through that list and it said Karate Kid is Japanese. He doesn't look Japanese, IMO. Same with some other characters.
Magic powers, which is really great because she does not fall into the stereotypical Asian hero role (Kung Fu/Karate, or super smart robot fighter).
She has not appeared in the new 52 yet, but when she does, I would like for her to be in a book featuring Metropolis' Superheroes (like John and Natasha Irons, and whoever else protects Metropolis besides Superman).
Not all of DC's magic heroes should be in the JLD!
I like Shang-Chi.

Thomas "Pie" Kalmaku gets all the beautiful ladies!
He's not Asian, he's an Inuit (Or Eskimo if you're a dick about it)

You know, I'm not seeing too much from the New 52 on this front. There's Katana. But she can't be the only one, can she? What about the young kid from Batman Inc. Has he appeared in the new issues of Batman Incorporated?
I can't say anything about Jiro from Batman Inc., but I know that I can name Lucien Gates, Kevin Kho, Katana, and August General in Iron as having appeared in the DCnU.

Good list! OMAC and The Ray have been pretty forgettable IMO, but I cannot believe I forgot about the August General. He and Rocket Red were like the only good thing about the rebooted JLI. And then, of course, they killed off Rocket Red and derailed the whole book into cancellation.
I think there were also a few Asian villains in Batwoman recently, come to think of it.
@PurpleCandy: Senior Chang is not a hero, he is the living essence of all that is evil. But he does seem like an awesome dude to party with
Don't Katana, Silver Samurai, and (obviously) Shang-Chi count as stereotypical martial artists though?
Technically, Radioactive Man was a hero for a while and I always thought he had unique, if not cool, look.
